As Yeadon explains - viruses behave in a particular manner and we have no reason to believe that SARS-Cov-2 will be any different. For example, the so called Hong Kong flu pandemic of 1968-69, which I remember well, came and went. It and was responsible for 80,000 deaths in the UK yet there was no suggestion that the country should be locked down with the resulting strategic damage to the economy that we are witnessing right now.

David is absolutely right - and all this info and research has been there for a long time; some of it for years. Vallance, Whitty et al should be sacked. They have done huge damage to our country - as have the bumbling politicians at the top who've allow the wool to be pulled....!

The bumbling politicians that make up this government are, I'm afraid, a disgrace to our party. They should have reconstituted SAGE with scientists of eminence long ago. Yet the country still has to suffer the wildly, consistently, incredibly inaccurate projections of Ferguson which none of his peers agree with; we suffer wildly inaccurate exponential "but its not a projection" graphs from Vallance - who deliberately equates 'cases' with morbidity, refuses to define a 'case', the numbers of which eminent statisticians who understand the PCR 'non-test' have slammed as producing 80% to 90% false positives. You couldn't make it up!

You're forgetting that the actions of the present Conservative Party regime have impoverished the country beyond Jeremy Corbyn's wildest dreams - and are continuing to do so, based on wholly discredited 'scientific advice' they have no clue how to judge. SAGE has been a disaster from the very beginning. Very many more of the population will be needing free meals soon!

I would urge all to listen to James Delingpole's podcast interview with Dr Mike Yeadon. This is the link: https://delingpole.podbean.com

It's fairly long - but stick it out. It's worth it!

In summary, you'll hear a convincing, science-based, withering analysis of the scientific advice that SAGE is now giving the government and the nation. We are being lied to says Dr Yeadon and the liar in chief is Patrick Vallance.

As he says, the impoverishment of the country is continuing only because SAGE says the pandemic is continuing - and according to the well-established epidemiological science the pandemic, per se, is over.

Dr Mike Yeadon has a degree in biochemistry and toxicology, a research-based PhD in respiratory pharmacology, has spent over 30 years leading new medicines research in the pharmaceuticals industry, and founded his own biotech company which he sold to the world’s biggest drug company Novartis in 2017.

He talks to James about his devastating paper What SAGE has Got Wrong (https://lockdownsceptics.org/what-sage-got-wrong/) in which he says that the Covid pandemic is over, that there will be no Second Wave, that we have already achieved herd immunity and that Sir Patrick Vallance, Britain’s Chief Scientific Adviser, is a liar and that the vaccine is more or less a waste of time. He doesn’t pull his punches…..

And who placed the fraudulent 'research paper' in the Lancet and NEJM in May that concluded that that HCQ was ineffective against COVID-19 illness. The paper was retracted when, fairly quickly, it's fraudulent nature was realised. But how did it get past Lancet and NEJM editorial moderators? Who financed it's preparation and placing? Etc. Many questions need to be answered.

In the same way, it appears that the UK medical establishment, SAGE in particular, is doing its best to suppress the fact that an adequate blood level of Vitamin D can boost the immune system to the extent that the vast majority of healthy individual would resist infection by COVID-19 and other viruses.

"He added that the disease would “start to look like annual flu more than anything else and that may be the direction we end up going.”
I'll bet that what Astra Zeneca hope for - Annual vaccine! can't you hear the AZ cash tills ringing in anticipation?

I have to say that I am one of those party members who will not be supporting the party if Boris is still in charge, come the next election.
He, Hancock, Whitty and Vallance have made a pig's ear of the COVID so-called pandemic. They are impoverishing our country in the vain hope of eradicating a virus that claims fewer lives than does 'flu. We need to live with this virus and, at the same time, do our best to ensure that all are encouraged to optimise their immune system to resist infection - by COVID, flu, or whatever - and, of course, shield the particularly vulnerable.
The only cabinet minister talking sense presently is Rishi Sunak. On what I've seen so far, he should be in charge, NOT Boris.
