PLAYERESSENCE : Street Fighter V Nash Trailer

Looks like a fun character. Pretty terrible artistic direction in my opinion. Kind of unfortunate that Capcom decided to debut Nash with a really questionable super move at 1:03. Hopefully it gets changed so it doesn't come off really creepy in the final game.

PLAYERESSENCE : IGN Scores Evolve a 9 out of 10, Doesn't Mention the $130 of DLC not Covered by the Season Pass

I hear frequently that reviews are just opinions. I think that's a false statement. A reviewer can have an opinion about whatever product that is being reviewed and even skew their assessment to go along with their bias, but a reviewer must first and foremost advocate for the consumer. Reading of IGN's failure to even mention the day 1 bloated DLC attached to Evolve is disheartening. These are professionals who are paid for their evaluations, but they can't even do that properly. The PR spin for this will be quite amusing, that is if their audience brings their failures to the forefront.

PLAYERESSENCE : Capcom's Rey Jimenez Would like to see a Bayonetta/Devil May Cry Crossover Game

With the amount of advertising Nintendo has done to promote MH4 Ultimate, I'm pretty sure Nintendo themselves has a vested interested in seeing that title become a retail success. But my comment mainly goes to showcase the gross mismanagement that Capcom has become infamous for. They can't even fund a new entry in the Street Fighter series by themselves. They needed Sony to help them out. Think about that. The premier fighting property that sets a standard for the genre, and Capcom can't make another entry without significant financial backing. Capcom used to be bold. They popularized the survival horror genre, they put out shooters, fantastic side scrollers, beat 'em ups, hack and slash, rpgs, they're portfolio is pretty grand. You would think there would be some plan to utilize them in a successful manner. However, we aren't seeing a lot of output of Capcom games in the future. It doesn't take a financial analyst to see something is up with this once great company. The only question I'm asking is who they have to partner up next to release another game.

This would be pretty cool if it were to happen, but let's face it, Capcom can't do anything right now unless they get cut a corporate welfare cheque. Unless Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo bankrolls development we'll probably won't see Dante again in whatever incarnation.

PLAYERESSENCE : Netflix and Nintendo are Making a Legend of Zelda TV Series

Until an announcement is made I'll consider this news as a fun rumor. A high budget 10 episode series would be pretty cool. Hope this is true.

PLAYERESSENCE : Smash Bros. Wii U - Training with Mario! #1 'For Glory'

I main Mario as well. At low percentages, his fireball and b-air combo can be a pretty good at applying pressure to rush down an opponent. After a couple up tilts, you can grab, slam down and continue to punish with up tilts. I usually finish with an u-air or d-air. Also, don't underestimate what a fully charged FLUDD can offer. It can be a pretty useful for mind games.
