Dear John,

I was in agreement with John McCain's statement regarding the hurricane. To this day I think it is fortunate that Gustav was not another Katrina as it was expected to be. People first, politics next.

"There was some talk today that Senator John McCain might consider moving the date of the 2008 Republican National Convention next week because of the potential landfall of Hurricane Gustav. I cannot recall an event like that happening in the past, but maybe it has. What Republicans are afraid of is being seen as partying in Minnesota while thousands of Americans are fighting for their property and lives on the U.S. Gulf Coast at the same time. With the 2008 presidential election so close, it does make sense that John McCain would be concerned about pictures of homeless and suffering people being shown on television, while the GOP is drinking it up and having a good time at their national convention." Hutch Report

I have never attacked Kraig Paulsen for not "bankrolling my pie in the sky campaign". Kraig was not even the minority leader at the time. I did not raise funds because it is asinine to raise money to spend on political propaganda when your neighbors are losing their lives. Once again People before politics. The GOP needed a candidate in the race.

McCain was not going to tour the flooded area. That was wrong. He needed to see what was happening in my neighborhood and as a citizen living in a disaster I had every right to say it was wrong for him not to come to the neighborhood. I wasn't alone.

"John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin decided to go the extra five miles after all Thursday when local leaders grew upset that they were flying in and out for an airport rally with no plans to see the flood-damaged city. " Mike Glover AP Reporter.

There was also more like 2.5 feet of "water" in our basement. We were also out of our home for almost four weeks. I have a FEMA number. We were very fortunate compared to some. I've always said so. So where do you draw the line on who is a victim?

So, next time you want to make statements regarding my character, why don't you bother to put up the facts as I have.

I checked your posts out. It seems you must have a personal grudge against Mrs. Potts. I'll ask the same thing she asked you, where are your facts? You say she did more "publicity harm" (is that even a term?) to the GOP than Howard Dean, can you prove it or once again John you seem to be chasing your tail.

Kathy Potts has Joni "Mrs. Republican" Scotter's support. Are you saying that Joni is not a self respecting republican?

Todd Henderson worked for Paul Pate when he was Mayor. His wife, Sara lost her seat on the Council to Monica Vernon. He has been tagging along with Corbett to his meetings. Corbett paid him $850 for consulting services according to the state web site. One R told me he was a campaign consultant for Romney in Iowa too.

The consultant that is not listed is Todd Henderson. According the the reports made last week, McGrane paid him $5,000 for consulting services. Who else paid Todd Henderson for consulting services? Ron Corbett.
