West Ham Till I Die : Grant Deal Nearly Done?

Mr Sullivan announces it through media to build the story up. He loves being mentioned with illustrious names like Henry & Van Nistelrooy and to make you and every other Hammers fan think he is the best thing to happen to West Ham since Bobby Moore, I would love to see Henry sign for the Hammers but i agree with you (he wont) and even if he does i still wont like Mr Sullivan much

If the 2Ds want a manager from the lower leagues then its gota be Pards, it just makes so much sense, none of that gardian short list are nearly good enough to be West Ham manager and Pardew said he would like to come back some day. I hope he does But my gut feeling is Curbs is already lined up

I agree completely. also its worth noting the players sold were Alan Pardew signings, as were James Collins Robert Green Dean Ashton George McCartney Nigel Reo Coker Danny Gabiddon Marlon Harewood and i would be delighted to see Pards given the job again because he done a great job for West Ham IMO.

West Ham Till I Die : Lasagne, Will Upson Stay and is this an Opportunity for Parker?

Luke Young would be a good signing for West Ham. he is English. not too old. and isn't prone to long spells in the treatment room,, You are right Aussie we could do better. but we could do a hell of a lot worse, If Upson is sold then so be it. i wont be that upset. but a new contract and a decent showing in the world cup (if he goes) added to taking the captaincy's responsibility away from him would settle him down again i think; he is not a natural leader and the uncertainty of his future has weighed heavy on him this season. an offer of 8 million or more would be hard to resist though

Is Zola truly an honorable bloke ? i ask because I'm starting to think he is doing this on purpose, maybe daring the Davids to sack him, yeah thats gotta be it, he would'nt keep picking Specter if he really wanted to win the game. Why do the players back him so much ? He sends them onto the pitch totaly unmotivated, without anything remotely close to a game plan nevermind a plan B, to be embarresed by opposition teams that are average at best. AND THEY LOVE HIM FOR IT!!!!! A Chelsea fan said to me today "Zola is a true blue and is still giving chelsea fans exactly what they want" I told him #%*+ off

West Ham Till I Die : Zola Could Argue He's Been Constructively Dismissed

When GZ eventually leaves are we all gonna be so impressed by the new manager Gold & Sullivan bring in that this unwholesome episode will be forgoten quicker than John Terry's wedding vows, I dont know about you lot but I'm gonna need dettol & a wire brush to get the bad taste away from my mouth, Gold & Sullivan do not care about the proper way to do things. i must agree with tiffen60, they have no class, only money... Nowadays, sadly money talks

Zola & the owners are no longer able to work together for the benefit of West Ham, crystal!!! To his credit Franco has been able to keep his dignity intact whilst Gold and Sullivan are taking indirect shots at him and using the media & press to maximise the embarrassment so that he walks away from the club without the big payoff. again crystal!!! I gotta say now.. I'm not a big fan of GZ and i was calling for his head a few weeks ago, but with survival a near certainty i was willing to be persuaded (by David Gold nice cop) that he deserves another crack, but how can he stay with the club if the people who own it are clearly trying to shove him out the door. On the other hand, this season has been absolutely shocking in terms of team organisation. some of the team sheets have left me scratching my head, you all know what i mean. tactics... or lack of them has cost us points time and again so why do i feel GZ can turn it around, If I'm honest I DONT But the players seem to be behind him 100% and that's the only reason, and not a good one i admit.

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Everton Match Player Performances

Gianfranco Zola was one of the best strikers the EPL has ever seen, that is undeniable.... so what is it that this goalscoring legend see's in Mido. Safhammer says its his nusiance value.... but a nusiance to who... oppositon defenders or West Ham fans. I personally would rather have seen Zola come on himself at half time as opposed to that lump of lard staying on cos even at his age Zola could make more of a threat. AGREED

The most important point about the next manager regarding his relationship with the owners is that whoever it is he will be appointed by Gold and Sullivan, that means if he fails to deliver for whatever reason the blame will come home to roost.

Hello all... I been visiting this site since the time of the Gold / Sullivan takeover, looking for some inside info & gossip and i gotta say some of you really know your onions (some dont ) This is the first time i've felt strongly enough on the matter at hand to post my opinion, so here goes 1. We need Zola / Clarke OUT 2. We need a manager with chamionship experience. (next season) 3. We need someone respected by nearly ALL Hammers fans 4. We need someone who would be willing to come and not cost a small fortune to get. 5. We need someone English / British who knows how to set a team up and play the game with commitment & passion 6, We need ALAN PARDEW........
