I agree that the Constitution needs to be restored. I have also been posting for a year that Congress should be sent home to telecommute, however, first things have to come first. In a filibuster proof Senate, and overwhelmingly Democratic House, we CAN"T PASS ANYTHING until we TAKE BACK CONGRESS! We have to work together, and stop the infighting about everyone's own pet project. Elect new faces, outside of politics with the values we hold dear. We only have a short time frame. By 2012 it may be too late. We also have to move forward from tea parties (a good thing, but not enough) to real action!! Spending time with like minded people celbrating the Founders and the Constitution is great, but until we take the message out to the neighborhoods, to the masses, we will be right where the politicians want us.
An example of cluelessness in DC- I received a call for money from the RNC today, from a young guy arguing with me and threatening me that we can't make change without supporting the Republican party. This from a party who can watch a Governor abandon his values, his family and his job, while touting others faults , then the RNC actually censures him, and DOESN:T DEMAND A RESIGNATION!!! I told him to watch us (the teapartiers and 912ers)make change happen. Don't make a liar out of me, please...:')
Just wrote to the Governor at her state office, tring to recruit her as a visible leader, outside of politics, for taking America back! We need her guts, charisma and visibility to help get the word out and galvanize support for the Consititution. The talking heads are going on and on about how this won't do her any good in the future. Because she didn't follow the script of all other politicians??? What else would you expect from Sarah? Personally, I think it is exactly what will enamor her to all those in the middle of the country, those who reject socialism and want to restore the American values we are fighting for. They do not have a clue about this woman, and it's interesting watching them shake in their boots about what she is up to. If you listened to her speech, her talk about working in AK and Nationally "advancing in a different direction" to "fight for Alaskans and Americans in the future".gave me hope she is on our side and can be the leader we are looking for. Those who didn't listen up to now, will have to watch her be attacked again, outside of politics, and may actually get a clue about the challenges we face.
Sarah for 912project leadership!!!! What will galvinize conservatives more than Palin, her guts and charisma to TAKE AMERICA BACK!!!! She needs not be a political figure, however can lead the march to take back America and when successful as a true Consitututionalist and heroine, have more support than ever thought before.

HERE'S my thought. Get the recycle bin and put your garbage, attached to the items they are stuck on in the bin. Drive your bin to the Mayor's Mansion and leave it on the curb. If enough people do it, and your homeless population picks through it enough and scatters scraps over his sidewalk, maybe something will change.
Sanford- So much for 912 values and principles. He seemed like a good one, but he certainly broke #1, #7 and #11. HONESTY, Sincerity, and personal responsibility. A day late and a $ short. They all have to go.

My idea, if it is affordable for you, is to buy inexpensive copies of Glenn's Common Sense, write a nice inscription (vent) and send one to all of your elected officials. I am sending one to the White House, one to each Senator, my House Representative, and as money permits, my Governor (Tim Kaine- HA!!!) the new gubernatorial candidates, and later my mayor, city council president, state senator and delegate.
We will get some attention if a ton of books show up. More impactful than even the red envelopes for life were earlier this year.

I vote for Constitutional Conservative as a title for my beliefs. I do however, feel that any party loyalty is just another excuse for future partisanism. Take each candidate based on values and principles. Anything else just allows a new set of partisans to hide behind party ideology when they may not individually espouse our values. The first paradigm I think many of us still need to forget is that there are any party differences at all, basically. Only degrees of the same Progressivism. I like to call them all members of the Opportunist Party.
