Nometet.com : Hasbro Family Games Night Vol 2 Review

"There have been a few exceptions in recent years with the likes of Trivial Pursuit "? I wrote the review on that. I gave it 1 star and pointed out hundreds of flaws. It's not an "exception", it's a rule.

Nometet.com : Are Multiplayer sections to games required now?

It's not like the multiplayer option is forced on you - why complain when it's a nice little extra for you? And to be honest, it's not entirely a new thing - most old games had multiplayer options. RTSs like Age of Empires and Metal Fatigue had them. FPSs like Half-Life. It's more that the multiplayers of games are becoming more popular - in which case they are, in fact, needed.

Nometet.com : The Future is Here. And it's indie.

What is today's indie is tomorrow's huge corporation. You make some nice points here, though as you do mention in section 4, it's not always the indies that make the great games.

Nometet.com : Are Special Editions Getting Plain Stupid?

You can get night vision goggles with MW2? Exactly how bad is it that it needs a piece of equipment usually several hundred pounds to come with it? I mean, I went looking for night vision goggles a while back (Don't ask why) and the cheapest, decent pair I found were at least £500! It might even be cheaper to just buy an Xbox and this collector's edition. Cool.

Nometet.com : Grand Slam Tennis

^ | Shut up Will. But anyway, this is pretty much what I would have written - I tried the game first, and couldn't get anywhere as it was too ridiculously hard. I imagine WiiMotion Plus helps, though I don't have it. But yeah.... you wrote exactly what I would have.

Not to be the party pooper, but when we say Budget, don't we mean less than £20? BBBP seems overpriced to me.... In my opinion, it's worth about £10 max.

Nometet.com : Review - Boom Blox Bash Party

The physics are just things you expect to find in games nowadays. Instead of them adding a dimension where you need to aim your shot by flicking the Wiimote in the right direction, you select a point to aim at, and the flicking only affects the strength of the throw. Here the game lost a lot of my interest - I have little time for games that could use the Wii for what it's supposed to be used for, and then throw it away on gimmicks.

Nometet.com : Five tips to improve movie-licensed tie-ins

On balance, I have one rule for movie tie-ins: DON'T BUY THEM. But reading your article has made me think a fair bit. And the conclusion is thus: "Don't buy ACTIVISION movie tie ins!" These are generally knocked off the line in about twenty seconds with no deep plot, far too many "collectables" and so many identical enemies you'd think their mother must have had identical centruplets (that's a hundred if you're wondering). But nice article, I found that to be all true.

Nometet.com : Marketing Websites. Pointless Teasers. What\'s The Point?

There is a second teaser trailer for COD:MW2 - one that contains actual visuals of what the game may contain. But that's not the point. Some games like Fable, the original one, had trailers that weren't completely misleading, but suggested that some features existed when they didn't - though they never actually SAID the features would exist, they implied it on several levels, and thus the game was slightly disappointing. But still very, very good.
