Obama would be soft on Al Qaeda, too, if they just stopped killing Americans or sort of promised to stop.

During the hearing on October 10, Lt. Col. Wood said that an attack on the U.S. consulate was "inevitable" since the consulate was the "last flag flying" in Benghazi as all other countries and even the Red Cross had pulled their staffs out of the area because of the danger. State Department official Patrick Kennedy asserted that the U.S. had to be in Benghazi "because that's where the action was" or some such nonsense.

The question isn't whether there should have been more security personnel in Benghazi but why there were any Americans there at all. Remarkably, no Congressman challenged Kennedy on his preposterous statement.

They are all abject, despicable liars. Remember Hillary Clinton's words when she runs for the presidency in a few years.

Eastwood's performance was a true act of genius. Oscar worthy! And I don't believe he ad libbed it. I believe that every gesture, every apparent verbal stumble, every word, were consummately planned and rehearsed. Just brilliant!

Mr. Wolf, I take strong issue with your position. Moreover, you use pejorative and invidious words. First, the COMPANY hires and serves all people without discriminating. Agreed? It is not simply a matter of "allowing them in the door." Secondly, the John Birch Society is not racist or sexist though it was libeled as racist by the AP in 2008. The Cathy family controls the Win-Shape Foundation which, in 2010, gave $1000 (less than .01% of its budget) to the Family Research Council. The legal issue is whether Chick-Fil-A discriminates in employment or in serving people in its restaurants and it does not. Though I would disagree with the FRC in its desire to legally ban gay behavior, I would not accuse the people at FRC of being immoral. But maybe you would.

The Cathy family evidently holds certain moral values which are within the mainstream in the country - and many other countries. They have a perfect right to support their beliefs financially in accordance with the law. I think the public manifestation of support of Chick-Fil-A on Appreciation Day demonstrated that large numbers of Americans support the right of people, e.g., the Cathy family, to support causes they believe in without coercion by the government.

Excellent article, Daniel! It does, however, seem to me that there may be an inconsistency in attempting to explain the failure of Islamist countries to develop economically. The question is whether Islamist "supremacism" is the flip side of Islamist "victimhood." Or not. That is a question I have not seen developed. There is also a question of cultural cognition: what is cause and what is effect. Clearly, there are many causes and many effects which mutually affect one another so that models become very complex. It does seem to me that the "supremacist" and "victim" positions are superficially similiar. The "supremacist" says, "We are the best in all respects." The Islamic victims (these are not mutually exclusive categories) says, "The problem is the Jews (or the Americans, Russians, Chinese, etc.); otherwise we would be at the top of the heap.

Guys, it's important to keep our eye on the ball. Obama must be removed from office by any legal means possible.

Railing against Bush, Romney or the media will not accomplish much.

I hear you, but I'm not at all sure that Al et. al. want a race war. I think, though, that they are in a groupthink mode and are overplaying their hand. They only read - or have reported to them, in the case of Obama - the MSM and I doubt that they appreciate the animosity that is building around their racist policies, practices, and posturings. the NBPP people are counting on the racists in the administration to protect them from the consequences of their actions.

A race war would be devastating to the country and, most particularly, to blacks. Blacks are extremely outnumbered. I live in northern Wisconsin (but have lived everywhere else) and EVERYONE here (except me) has an arsenal.

I do believe, however, that the NBPP and their like are the "shock troops" of the racist generals (Obama, Sharpton, Holder, etc.) and I believe that the generals want to push the envelope just short of a race war.

Was it Lenin who said, "You push your enemy and push your enemy and when you encounter hard steel you back off"?

F.Y.I. Obama, Holder, Sharpton, the New Black Panthers and their ilk ARE ONE BIG ORGANIZATION! Where have you been? It is the party of Marxist Racists. The evidence is there for all to see.

This is a reply to Schlomotion.
