Yes $20 bought just under 1 oz of gold....Now it takes $1750+ to buy that same thing. So what changed? Did the gold change? Or did the Dollar value go down the toilet? Your Gov does not want you to realize they stole 96%+ of the value of your dollar via inflation. Every time the Fed prints billions of dollars they are diluting the little value that is left in your dollar. Just like when a stock splits the price of the stock goes in half yet you get double the shares (no loss or gain). But when they split the dollar you still have the same amount and those who get the created dollars steal your wealth little by little.
