Big Journalism : Overnight Thread: Media-wise, Did the Bloom Just Come Off the Obama Rose?

The sycophantic idolatry which has been the MSM standard concerning this man is much preferred by this administration over inquisitive reporting. Fox News and the Washington Times were the first ones kicked off the campaign plane when it was obvious electoral victory was at hand. Perhaps Milbank's piece indicates the mass affliction of Matthews Tingly Leg Syndrome is diminishing somewhat.

A political party may be useful as an organized issue advocacy group of limited purpose and time. What must be embraced are the timeless principles of freedom and responsibility without which the Constitution is meaningless.

A focus on constitutional principles/values will result in the re-education of the electorate and the reform of the existing political parties, a task of great importance if the republic is to survive. The Republic under the Constitution doesn't require political parties at all, but must have an informed and involved electorate.

Big Government : Sorry, Wade: James O’Keefe’s Actions Don’t Excuse ACORN

Are you serious, or is this an attempt at sarcasm? The photo at Gawker and Washington Independent has been closely cropped to eliminate identifying background details and stripped of all metadata and thus cannot support any of the allegations. The Indepentent claims any other photos were unavailable after confiscation by the FBI, but has presented no proof thereof.

Big Government : U.S. Attorney Steps Down From O'Keefe Case

If U.S. Attorney Letten is competent, the way this matter was handled strongly indicates that he knew no conviction would be forthcoming for O'Keefe, so the act of holding him without counsel for 28 hours couldn't have damaged a non-existent case. It did, however, allow the FBI and U.S. Attorney's office time to leak juicy details to the leftstream media without immediate contradiction or correction, and the rumormongers ran with it. Letten, meanwhile, was aware of a promotion/re-assignment in the works, and recused himself when the promotion became official and the misinformation campaign against O'Keefe and company was well underway.
