Big Journalism : Supreme Court Drop-Kicks McCain/Feingold, Scores Victory for 1st Amendment; Obama preparing 'Forcef

Thanks to the five justices who can read and understand the First Amendment! Corporations have the right to political speech just as do individuals, for they are made up of individuals - for those who say that more money equals more political power, that may be true when you have an uninformed electorate incapable of critical analysis - but in the end good ideas will always win against stupid ideas, witness Massachusetts! Maybe this will help balance the liberal left media, who have for so long slanted and lied about business and corporations.

Ha ha ha ha ha goodbye New York Times (not a legitimate news source)! Why they think anyone would pay for their crap, is the same reason liberals think people really want to be dominated by elites in government.

Saving the environment, one tax at a time... Maybe they could teach the DC residents not to litter instead?

Macleans.ca : Centre of the storm

It never ceases to amaze me that so many people and especially scientists are not skeptical as they should be, about any theory or claims with regard to climate change or anything else. To be real science it must be repeatable and reproducible, and predictions made must come true. The "warmers" fulfill none of those conditions. Kudos to Mr. McIntyre who has shown he has more claim to scientific spirit and methodology (and accuracy) than his many detractors who continue to push a political agenda and not a skeptical science agenda seeking truth.

Breitbart.com : NYPD tracks gun in deadly Times Square shooting

Colleen writes, "Because buying a firearm is so difficult in New York, people barred from owning pistols here often travel south to shop at gun shows where there are no required background checks for people buying secondhand weapons. Martinez didn't have a license to own a firearm. " Doesn't she even read what else she writes - it was a stolen weapon! And she lies, a background check IS required at gun shows from FFL dealers - the only time it isn't required is when it is a free and unregulated transaction between two individuals. Anyway background checks and the like are NOWHERE in our Constitution, which says quite clearly the right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, PERIOD. Kudos to the brave cop who removed this criminal from the gene pool forever. I am thankful the taxpayers don't have to house and feed him, just bury him.

Breitbart.com : Study: Slowdown in warming last year not permanent

So, the reason the cooling was not predicted by the models was because...uh, because...uh, they just forgot, that's all! Anyway they predicted it *after* it happened just fine, so what's the big deal? The experts know what's going on! We should still trust them to predict things 10, 20, 50, 100 years into the future, based on computer models that make hundreds of assumptions that we don't even know about and no one can verify, based on data that was cooked, smoothed, hidden and strangled to ensure the "right" output - right? Right?? After all, they do so well on the hurricane predictions - every season after it has ended, they always get the number right! I mean, it's absolutely amazing! Got to go check the weather report for 5 days out. They say it's going to (rain, snow, be sunny, be cold or warm) and I'm sure they are correct, they are experts.
