I'm part of several online communities that are Walking Dead related, and I ask that people would send me a private message if they are interested (be it a battle of who died in the finale, or a Rick vs Daryl scenario, etc). However, if they are not on my friend's list, I don't even receive the message like I should. That filter simply puts it into Others, and I don't get any indication that I even received this message. So, I end up being left in the dark and leave the other guy feeling like I am just ignored them. This Filtering function could be helpful to some. But to be honest, it becomes more of a problem and cause than a solution. When I go to look at my Filter options, its only Basic or Strict, no Off mode available. If I am getting messages, I would rather they be in one lump sum so I can make the decision as I see fit. How does one expect people to manage things if they can't even know someone contacted them?

That statement is just as offensive to men as RooshV's article is to women. Trust me when I say this: Virtually every man knows not to rape. The problem is that some don't care.
