Hi,

Railo is not supported yet. We've ported the most part to Railo already, but certain functionalities are, let's say not so advanced, with Railo yet. We are working together with Railo to have this covered soon.

Kind Regards,
Nitai
Founder & CTO, Razuna

Yes, JAVA_HOME is a requirement. Apple made is so easy for us to forget about all those "required" settings, but when you are on Linux you know that you need to add some steps manually :-) Don't know about the JAVA_HOME sym link, but I actually never have to do anything else, when updating Java. So you might want to look into this further and get your installation cleaned and setup properly...

TheNitai : Experience with a MacBook Air

Ok, ports are never ever an issue with me :-) I hardly ever need the USB port, only to charge the Jambox or once in a while hook up the iPhone/iPad. The 13" has a card reader, which I do need for my photos. That's all. Thought, the thunderbold port gives you access to anything else. Say, you would hook up a Apple screen to it and then the Apple screen would have all the ports you need.

TheNitai : On my way to Linux - Part One

Hi Jamie, Yes, I also use my machines mainly for developing and thus Tomcat, MySQL, Eclipse, OpenBD all come into play very nicely. No doubt. Also, the configuration of the system with Compiz and all the bells and whistles feels "natural". What I'm a bit more concerned is the application side. As I mentioned, Open Office feels like Word 98. Also that there is no real replacement for Aperture / Lightroom is a bit of a "worry". I have been getting into photography lately and really enjoy using Aperture. Another worry point is (and I haven't searched for alternatives) the screen casting. I do a lot of videos for our products and really needs a good app for that. Currently I'm using ScreenFlow. To be honest, I'm a bit back and forth. On one part I love being able to use just about any "cheap" hardware out there and use an open source system, on the other hand I came to love the apps of MacOS X which gives me currently all I need. But I will continue on with Ubuntu and look for alternatives in the applications section.

TheNitai : Nginx error with Tomcat - upstream sent too big header while reading response header from upstream

Hi Brenda,

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question. Sorry.

But I have seen some other weirdness with the Nginx/Tomcat combo and
we decided to more back to Apache/Tomcat. In my speed test I saw that
Apache/Tomcat is at the same speed as the Nginx/Tomcat combo. So there
as no really gain from Nginx.

Just make sure you install the Tomcat Native Libraries, will make a
big difference.

Kind Regards,
Nitai

Razuna Blog : Moving away from GetSatisfaction

Simply put, I'm not a big fan of companies that offer something and then, because some business people think it is a wise idea, withdraw some features and make you upgrade just to have the same features again. Also, if we had stayed with them we would have had to continue with a mediocre administration and almost no control over what users post. No sub categories, no dedicated forums for paying customers, etc.
