Nah, they're just going to make everything too shiny and oversimplified and have way too many interconnecting social networks. Oh, well. At least HTML5 is kind of neat.

There's only one solution: we need to turn off the internet and banish the nerds from our country. We do not need these technomantic rituals interfering with our pure and simple lives. Hang on, I need to pull these medicinal leeches off of my neck and drink my radium-infused health water.

chainsawsuit by kris straub : do this tonight

Alright. Now drive your Ford® Focus™ down to Walmart® and buy a Butterball® turkey. Then you can come home and cook that turkey in a General Electric® oven and sit down with your family at a nice Ikea® dining table. You don't have to think about corporations or commercialism at all. Just have a nice, commercialism-free Thanksgiving like me. I'm lovin' it™.

chainsawsuit by kris straub : i will buy skyrim

I remember trying to steal the Daedric armor off of the guy who ran the corprusarium -- while he was still wearing it. There was an elaborate plan involving degrading the armor until it was unequipped without starting a fight with him, then taking it from his inventory while he wasn't paying attention. Needless to say my corprus was never cured. Damn, Morrowind was good times. Also: Oblivion. I wonder where I can get $60 to spend on video games before sunup...

The George Lucas Mysteries 25th anniversary collectors edition -- includes remastered effects and an all new CGI Totbottom with new dubbed lines of dialogue to elaborate on bits of story that were deemed "too complex". Among the new lines are such instant classics as "I'm chopping you with this axe to kill you!" and "Yes, when you die I'll get all of your money because that's what it says in your will!"

It turns out those au gratin potatoes were poisoned, and that old man knew it. "If I do one thing right in my life, it'll be saving everyone who would have otherwise perished from these terrible poisoned taters!" Thank you old man. Your life of sin and hedonism is absolved by this one final act of goodness. I just wish you could have saved me some fucking steak.

Kris Straub - cartoonist, designer, humor scientist : Machine intelligence

So instead of studying actual humans, they're studying machines that humans have created? That sounds kind of like a flimsy idea. Also it doesn't help that the robot baby is completely terrifying.

That bone sticking out of his back in panel 3? It's actually the hilt of a dagger. Ctrl-Z is the code-name of the maniacal assassin who stabbed Kris, barely missing his heart, mere moments ago. Hurry, Kris! Type that last emergency tweet in hopes that rescue will arrive soon!
