Breitbart.com : Senior group seeks nursing home worker licensing

Then get ready to get out the taxpayers checkbook as hundreds, if not thousands, of new government bureaucrats will be needed. New laws, new buildings, new licensing boards, more regulators, inspectors, educators... Long term care facilities will be forced to hire more paper pushers to ensure 'compliance' and in turn, will be forced to raise prices and/or reduce the number of workers actually providing the care. Quality of care will deteriorate and demands for even more regulation, more bureaucrats, will rise as the personal injury lawyers begin circling like buzzards. I've seen this movie before. More taxes, more government, fewer caregivers, lower quality. Rinse and repeat until the system fails.

Breitbart.com : UK says bank tried to avoid $800 million in tax

regulatory loopholes = legitimate deductions "follow the spirit of the law in addition to the letter" where taxation is concerned. NO. If they broke the law, then fine. But if they were just following the law to their own best advantage, there should be no penalty. How can banks (or anyone else) plan a budget around 'spirit' taxes? Government may write the tax laws but shouldn't be surprised when people actually READ those laws and then adjust their lives or their business for the best benefit.

So this is the face of TOTUS... "many people were suffering before the last three years, particularly in the black community." She should know. Who was making big profits from that suffering? The same folks who now occupy 1600 Pennsylvania. Not new, but on topic and worth the time. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/0...

Breitbart.com : Geithner: Obama seeks 28 percent corp. tax rate

Breitbart.tv : Napolitano: 'Serious Mistakes Were Made' With Operation Fast & Furious

'Mistakes'?? Still not one person in this administration is expressing any remorse over the foul nature of their plan or the deaths that followed. Conspiring against this Nation, against every American's Second Amendment rights; law enforcement officers being murdered, hundreds of civilians murdered, isn't a 'mistake'. That isn't even a 'serious mistake'. It's conspiracy, murder and treason and should be treated as such. Resignations alone will not be sufficient.

Breitbart.com : Obama dares Republicans to act on US housing woes

"But it is wrong for anybody to suggest that the only option for struggling, responsible homeowners is to sit and wait for the housing market to hit bottom," Obama said. So what does the market have to do with their mortgage? If a house is purchased as an investment, and you didn't turn a profit, well, too bad. If it was purchased to own property, to have a roof over your head, then you got everything you agreed to. Funny, I just can't seem to find the clause in the Constitution that says Washington can force lenders to take a bath and renegotiate contracts or force taxpayers to subsidize someone else's investment choices. At least that was the law before President Downgrade set precedent by confiscating GM... "The plan also includes a government-led effort to make foreclosed properties that cannot be sold available to renters" So. Wrong. We all know what happens to neighborhoods (and property values) once the government gets involved in the rental biz. The decision of whether to rent a property, or not, belongs to the owner of the property, not Obama.

"Nothing is more important to Congress than reducing income inequality," said Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Oh really? So many questions, but the first I would ask is 'why'? Is there a problem with income inequality? Why or why not? Does Harry have a plan and can we see it? After making the rich less rich, will the poor suddenly become wealthy? What if income inequality is what made this country great? Wouldn't we then want even more inequality? What are the unintended consequences of closing the gap? Maybe we should ask someone smarter than Harry Reid. "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." /Winston Churchill There ya go. Churchill +1, Reid - full of cr@p and getting dumber everyday.

"...frustrating for most Americans who just want to see Washington work on the problems that they face every day," Carney said." Bzzt. Wrong. 'Frustrating' is what happens when Washington 'helps'. Because every time Washington works on 'fixing' anything the worse it gets.
