I love Michael Bay. He knows who he is, he knows what he can do and he's not trying to do something for any sort of recognition or clout amongst a certain group of people. I especially gained a new level of respect for Bay after reading an interview with Tarsem (for the Onion A.V. Club I believe). Tarsem talks about how he and Bay were in the same film school classes and how Bay really stays true to himself. I think that's great.

Looks fake to me based on the cover art alone. Criterion art tends to be highly original and sometimes more esoteric.

I think this looks absolutely amazing and I love the way Pitt looks and sounds in this. I read the script last year and am eagerlyawaiting all the action to unfold on screen. This will be Tarantino's magnum opus.

The Dark Knight should have been nominated at least to give a nod to the film. And Nolan definitely should have been nominated for director, hell he probably should have won too. It's very sad that the Academy falls for Oscar-bait like The Reader.
