Really? Prove it! Cite me a source that states that Druids (ancient or modern) do not embrace compassion, do not care for their fellow man, and would allow people to starve. Cite me this Druid source. Truth is truth, whether spoken by Karl Marx (and quoted in a modern Druid Pledge) or by anyone else. I am a Druid. I teach only Druidism. The Marx quote underscores one of the most important aspects of being a Druid. Ai gwisgi t cara 'i alli t ca unrhyw!

Re: Duane Clemons I’m sorry, but I don’t accept the libertarian/Randian/tea bagger idea of letting people who are the victims of capitalism starve or go homeless. Druids pledge (among other things): “From each according to his/her ability, to each according to his/her need,” “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.” ( http://mithrilstar.org/pledge.htm ) Want to see the ideals of Ayn Rand and Libertarianism in action? Pre-quake Haiti and present day Somalia are good examples of Libertarian government. Everything wrong with the world today can be linked back to these ideas that we are somehow separated from everyone and everything else, that we are not connected and therefore not affected by suffering of others. Climate Change is a direct result. But I speak from a Druid viewpoint. YMMV.
