Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 8/5 September 12th Is Rapidly Approaching, Do You Have Plans?

Sorry I will be unable to attend. :( I must continue to work to support the alleged millions on unemployment and government aid programs. Even though I earn (way) less than 250K household income I still pay a huge chunk of these earnings to taxes, but I am sure Obama will fix that soon, he is the savior of the middle class that he will not raise taxes on and will provide us with health care we can afford isn't he?

What right to keep and bear arms? As for radio or TV or Internet, yeah this place that has been attacked several times, and I am sure not just for fun and games. Leftist socialist agenda crowd spends big bucks to slander the integrity ethics and that of every family member they can of every effective voice the conservative right has or had. while the conservatives sit restrained on the ethics of fighting fair.

Income Tax, that is. He may keep the "bush tax breaks" and not raise INCOME TAX on 95% of us but he sure has plans for health care taxes, Cap and Trade Taxes, fuel taxes, all that we will pay direct and or in the cost of the products we buy to live, thrive and survive.

Who is the better choice to receive a organ transplant? Would it be a 27 year old in otherwise reasonable health or an 67 year old in poor and failing health? Their are many other moral questions, I have heard of people choosing against a final push to cure their cancer, in order to live their last days happy and home, and I have watched people take every radiation and chemo and die an emancipated bag of bones on morphine for the pain. It is a personal choice. I have chosen and have a living will and advance directives as to my care if I am not coming back or to damaged to function. I can always change my mind as long as I have one. It needs to be discussed and understood before you are lying in intensive care.

Nothing costs too much when you are not spending money you did not have to earn with your own hard work. Funny the Dems and media raised a stink about money spent to improve and provide accommodations for secret service and press at Bush's Texas home. Remind you friends of this double standard.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 7/28 PUT DOWN THE TWINKIE! Obesity Is Costing Us A Fortune

I do not disagree with you, I have been very concerned about the future since I realized the he would most likely win the election, when he did most hope was lost. He and his like minded socialist principled allies in congress have pushed far and fast for their agenda, this being the first stumble that is being brought by voter pressure. If he could have turned the heat up any more to pass a quick health care bill chock full of government control of our health and our very life he would have. Everyone needs to voice concerns to their congress people during the break and remind them that 2010 is coming. Bill Clinton had a ride till his first mid term, he never spoke of a balanced budget and thought Hillary would run health care till the contract with America. Lets get busy...

Well that brings up another issue besides fixing broke bones and life long treatments and care for head injuries etc. The issue is is it fair that the participants of risky Hobbies, unlike an occupation that exists to earn a profit, no pay the expenses of the search and rescue put out by the park services and coast guard? I mean if you fall mountain or get lost hiking, what about a personal bond or insurance? I think it makes it fair to all, to pay you own way.

Free Speech is not the question, sex and racism, are not either, look around the rest of the mall and I am sure you will find ethnic shops, and sex exploiting displays. I do wonder though if any shops or kiosk is selling ObamaWare?

Having lost 170 pounds I can tell you obesity is an expensive and life long expense. Early deterioration of your hips, knees and feet, diabetes leading to its severe consequences, high lipids to heart failure and the damage does not all go away after the weight is gone. I know how hard it is to control and manage a "healthy" diet, but I do not deny every double bacon cheeseburger fries and chocolate shake either. The problem I see is the latter is easy, satisfying, and cheap, and contains enough calories for the average person for a whole day, and that was just lunch for some. Their are key ingredients that buck up the calories and fats in food I suggest we tax those base ingredients at the production or distributor level. I feel like tobacco, we know the use/overuse of these components cause disease. High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Hydrogenated Oils, Starch, and refined flour lead the pack. But I am for NO NEW TAX unless my outgo is reduced elsewhere! This is only a way to tax the cause for the cure, pay to play if you will.

Yes, labor is almost always the largest cost in any product. But their are many things that are just no longer made (in any quantity) here or at one time moved because the process at the time involved or produced toxic chemicals. Printed circuit boards and electronic components were among these at that time.

Advice to President Obama "When you find yourself in a hole, Quit Digging" The humble police officer, that responded to the call of a burglary in progress to find a broken door and an admittedly belligerent, uncooperative man, took steps that protected the people and police, the property, and Mr. Gates from harm.
I am glad to read that we have legislation in place that would allow carbon taxes, but doubt they will ever be used. All along I have said that we have exported our manufacturing in large part because of pollution regulations in our own country. Now that we are greener because we don't have the factories spewing pollution, we also import electronics, cars, steel (yes steel), computer chips, plasma tv's, and on... we as a country want to level the trade field, we should impose our standards of allowable polluting on our suppliers, that would make it profitable to open factories here, and protect the environment.

Well the CBO is under control of the liberal democratic socialists I really wonder about this. To think that we will save money by preventative measures is iffy many people don't go to the doctor, even with not cost, until they are dying. Then add the cost of all the people that would now show up at the doctor for a paper cut. To save money, law suits and liability claim abuse must be reigned in. Paper work on billing must be streamlined, no mor "codeing errors" or denied claims while the insurance company makes sure they cannot charge workman's comp or a auto policy. And price gouging must be stopped by bracketing prices, limiting the discounts given to the insured from the billed price to an un insured.

Who Will Health Care Hurt The Most? It will hurt, those whose care is not cost efficient, would not won't to "waste" a heart surgery on an obese diabetic, that may not follow diet and exercise after the surgery. A walker or wheelchair is much better than a new hip at some age I am sure. Rest assured the rich and elite will still have their health care, just in India, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, where it will still be on a pay to cure basis.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 7/23 The President's Big Moment From Health Care Address Was Not About Health Care

I as, Obama, do not have all the FACTS about what was said and how loudly it was said. What is know from news reporting is; 1. Police were called to the residence for a burglary in progress 2. Police responded to the address and found a man, who by his own accounts was irate and refused to give ID and shouted at the law enforcement officer. 3. the man at the scene did eventually identify himself with proper ID. Now it gets difficult.... with those facts it would seem a open shut case that is simple, but if we think for a moment we would realize or rationalize the position the police were in. 1. they found a belligerent man at the scene of a reported burglary 2. Even with a ID that states this has his address it is not proof that he belongs their, he could have been an estranged spouse, for any number of reasons he would have been locked out. 3. If the police were to have let it go and walked away, and been wrong in Assuming Gates belonged there, their would have been heck to pay for that mistake. Without a recorded video with clear sound it will always be a I said cop said, and I have always thought it best to not argue with a cop, after all he came to protect you and your property, not knowing whether he would be facing a man who lost his keys or a man with a weapon intent on violence.
