It's unlocked and running a jailbroken 4.3.3. I've tried to update to IOS 5 by creating a custom ipsw and restoring through iTunes (latest version), but I get the ineligibility message. Is this because the phone was bought in France? It's running on an ATT SIM right now. I also have a U.S. iPhone 4, locked to ATT and running a jailbroken 4.3.3. I can't figure out the steps to get a jailbroken iOS 5. When I try restoring with the custom ipsw, as above, I get the ineligible message. I must be doing the same thing wrong on both. I found PWNGE tool easier than RedSnow because of its graphics and it led you step by step. I can't find instructions specific to RedSnow. Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, when I try to restore with the custom IPSW, iTunes verifies with Apple and gives me a message saying my phone is not eligible for this firmware. My bootrom is 05.13.04.
