I'm actually hoping for 2 episodes I had in mind. 1. where they all get switched from pegasus, unicorn and earth pony. Like Applebloom becomes a pegasus, sweetie belle an earth pony and scootaloo a unicorn. I think it would be both cute and funny.
2. another would be cute if the CMC read a book in twilight's library that gave them cutie marks but everypony else lost theirs.

i actually am on the fence whether they should get their cutie marks or not. Although they would need to get them at some point...
