Sony is so damn transparent and thin skinned. They have no problem at all bullying or trashing anyone else. This does show that they are very threatened by the 3DS though and are very worried about their own tech and it's reliance on 3DTVs that aren't selling as well as they hoped or projected. They started or tried to start a transition to soon. Their using the PlayStation to push other tech in the company I think to some degree will cost them if it hasn't already. Nintendo isn't about to help them or be "kind" to them after all the crap they've said about them. Look at how long it took for Sega and Nintendo to get along and even now people at Sega still have their stupid hats on from time to time.

This whole thing is based on the assumption these publishers were actually supporting the Wii in a serious or significant way to begin with. Majority of them weren't. Only a few were and the few that were are still on the system. Ubisoft, Capcom, and EA. It really can't be said the others were serious about the system and even then those three have finally realized crap won't. I'd take a few games from them that were of high quality over quantity.

There are no Innovative new IPs? That's not the Wii's fault but the fault of developers. I don't see many appearing on other systems anyway.

I really do hope Nintendo comes out swinging at their media event. Let these publishers take games away from the Wii. It's not like they are hurting anyone but themselves.

Great that the game is getting a significant push. However now sure if I'll need a new classic controller. I barely use the one I have now to be honest. Though I'm curious if Monster Hunter 3 will simply control better with it then the Wii Remote and Nun-Chuck. I'll have to take a look at the control setup again. If it will be better then I'll change my pre-order to this bundle instead.

If Nintendo releases another console so soon I think I'm going to take a pass on it unless there is a significant change between it and the Wii. There is no way in the world it will all of a sudden get more games from 3rd parties.

I don't really see he point in them releasing a new console at this moment though. Unless they've already given developers dev kits and had them sign a NDA there are not going to get new games on the system. It will again be Nintendo simply selling hardware with no software to back it up. That's their problem right now with the Wii and the reason for their sales slowing. I become so annoyed Nintendo doesn't seem to recognize that. Did they honestly think they could just get away with selling hardware and people would jump for joy over things like Wii Music and Animal Crossing?

Releasing a new console isn't going to solve their problems at all. They have a software issue and have always had a software issue when it came to the Wii. They should have known this when they decide to go with the Wii, especially after what developers did to the GameCube. They need to actually release software for everyone and not simply games like Wii Sports. Gamers are telling them what type of games they want and it most certainly isn't Wii Music or Animal Crossing (that is actually a damn GameCube game).

Anyone else get the feeling that Nintendo are starting to become worried about the claims and complaints that they have ignore their hardcore base? The people, young and old, that made Nintendo what they are and feel ignored by Nintendo lean toward non-game type games. Between Metroid Other M, the new Zelda won't be that different from Twilight Princess, and the statement that Mario Galaxy 2 will be for the hardcore I can't help but think they are trying to address those concerns in significant way and not simply play lip service.
