Labour is chasing the University student vote, so Conservatives need to point this out to the majority of young people who are not going to University. Just let them know: "those students are all voting for a party that wants you to subsidise the cost of their courses, even though they are going to end-up better paid than you. Fight back. Let the students pay for their own advantages. Vote Conservative!".

Why wasn't there an option of "we should have left already" ? It would be interesting to know how many wanted an immediate break with EU after the vote.

I think a big part of the problem is that every generation wants to feel that they are special, better than previous generations, to give themselves self-esteem. So they easily convince themselves they can change the world for the better by trying something *new*, that their parents were too stupid to do. How to convince them they are just an ordinary new generation - nothing special, without crushing their sense of self-worth?

I would have expected a good Conservative result next time too. Surely, all those Conservatives who didn't vote last time or voted for other parties to reduce the huge expected majority (and to fight against a hard Brexit) wouldn't do so next time, knowing Corbyn stands a chance after all. And all those Labour voters who hated Corbyn but were persuaded he didn't have a chance would also be less likely to vote next time too. And yet I hear the opinion polls put Corbyn ahead now. So what do I know?
