I need help finding some info. A while back Rush Limbaugh said something about Obama said the Constitution was archaic and needed to be changed. I can't find anything except Rush. I need proof (for a debate in another place) that isn't considered "right wing" - possibly a U-tube that would show Obama saying something to that effect. I'm really lousy at search key words and get frustrated trying to find stuff I'm really interested in finding. Anyone??

It never fails - the government starts up some entitlement or program, their experts say "we figure xxx people will use the entitlement". And shortly, the numbers will bloom to 10 times or 100 times more than expected. What the hell does the government think will happen here?? In 4 days -FOUR DAYS - the takers are 100 times what the "experts" suggested they would be. Sounds about par for the course.

I said (when election results were published) that Obama is the anti-Christ. Now I'm convinced he is! He's leading us down the garden path - to the slaughter house. Remember the move Logan's Run??? everyone at 35 (I think that was the age) were rounded up and basically murdered - for the good of the collective. That's where we're headed. First it will be 85, then 75, then 65..... where will it end??

Let him try and get a "sin tax" passed - big dreams for one who can't quit smoking (Obama). Is he going to have to pay those "sin taxes" to cover his smokes? Probably not - someone will silp in a loophole that exempts congress, senate and the president.

From what I read (sorry, can't remember the link) NO ONE has ever been arrested for refusing to answer any questions. The fine and jail time has been a threat for years. Never enforced. I guess, if ACORN is involved, that may be enforced for the first time in history.

Global Warming my Aunt's fanny! I remember back in the 70s when scientists were worried about global cooling to the point they were suggesting we paint the polar ice caps black to help them melt (by attracting HEAT) and now they want to eliminate carbon to prevent global warming? I've read that global warming is what causes carbon to raise. It's like letting a soda get warm - all the carbonation bubbles out of the drink. What do you think would happen if the oceans warm a bit? they start releasing carbon dioxide. If this is truly the case, we can not control it by any means. The thing is, there's this guy at the epa who says it's all bunk but he's been hushed up (sorry - lost the link) I also remember someone bitching (where I used to live in Utah) about polution, but read some reports that in the pioneer days when everyone heated and cooked over wood fires, you couldn't see across the valley for all the polution - that was with a smaller population than today, and with NO poluting industries. I can't remember the last time it's been smoggy enough there not to see across the valley. Go digure.

ACORN is not doing the census - they are doing the ACS - American Community Survey - which is done every 2 years, and has been for a long time. http://2010.census.gov/2010census/pdf/2010ACSnote... Read it CAREFULLY - all questions are marked as to whether they are for the census or ACS or both. When I first read it, I was outraged at the invasion - still am, but it's NOT all the census. The ACS is done to check on how the economy is doing - what people are buying, family income etc. About 6% of Americans will be polled on the ACS. The census used to include about 10% long forms, which duplicate the info on the ACS. The Census is no longer going to have long forms. Any data which was to be collected on the long form, is now included on the ACS forms. YES I know ACORN is bad but it's been a whirlwind of misinformation regarding ACORN's part. I know in my state, there are ads for census workers and there's been no mention of ACORN. I know that doesn't say they won't be involved here, but so far, no mention.
