I am a german citizen, living and studying in the US and I have still german health care with a private insurance (actually outside of the universal in germany) where I pay about $120 a month for premium care with free choice of doctor, osteopaths, alternative doctors are accepted, i have a 90/10 plan for my dental coverage etc. I believe it is crucial to make health care more affordable for everyone.

I agree with Kllmt and urge for universal health care. Some might consider universal healthcare as socialist, but I would not consider all the countries in Europe socialist who have universal healthcare and it works there really well and combined with an effort to emphasize on prevention the health of the american people could be served much better.
