WiFi/wireless is okay for laptops as long has the hub is centrally located within the home. Also building materials can interfere with range and connectivity. For desktop systems you want to be hardwired to your network. You get better connectivity and building materials don't come into play with your signals from a hub. It all comes through the wires. Some folks prefer to have computers in their rooms. It is more private that way. Others like me prefer to have all systems in one location with the exception of a few laptops throughout my home for quick access when I am taking an appointment. My phone system is the same way. I have phones in almost every room in my home. It makes things much easier to deal with when calls come in for my business. I usually have a laptop close by for that purpose as well. I also agree RV and boat parking should be a must.

There is a half bath on the first floor down the left hallway from the entry on the right. It's the first door I am thinking. It is not marked on the diagrams.

Yeah I am in agreement about the Living/Game room. My husband and I run our own computer repair business. So in our household we have around 10-12 computers running at any given time. Some are laptops but most are desktop PC's. We prefer to keep all systems in one location. It is easier to work and to make sure kids aren't doing what they shouldn't be doing. It also makes it easier for computer gaming when everyone can talk and not yell or run from room to room.

Same here. I believe a pool with a spa would be fantastic here. You could swim in the middle of the night in summer when its warm or sit in the hot tub/spa in winter to relax. Why should you have to leave your dream home when you have guests? Besides, going out these days costs way to much. When you have a large family it is even worse. Something to think on.

Getting more and more disturbing. I have a home based business. It cuts back on overhead to not have to pay for a store front and the like. Are they saying something like that would not be acceptable? We are mobile techs so we don't usually bring our work home. We do it onsite at the clients place. Need to try and figure out all the no no's.

I really like this floor plan. Everyone is separate from everyone else. In my mind I am thinking there should be a library or even a room that you can put lots of computers. I know if I were to win this home I would need a place to set up shop so to speak. Is the house going to be wired for cable/internet in every room? Is there going to be a space for RV parking or boat parking? I am thinking that game room may work well for all the computers my family has.

Any deck they place along side the home will need to be above ground due to snow in winter and possible flooding in spring and summer. It may also be a partial wrap around due to it being on two sides of the home.

Is it possible your provider is blocking them due to the number of emails coming in? I have seen providers do that thinking their clients are being spammed. They will auto block from a service if they feel it is an issue.

Organic carrot sticks and broccoli please. Those sound like great treats to me. I quit smoking in '99 and bubble gum is just to sweet. Although I will go for a fantastic piece of Tiramisu with coffee ice cream. I know it's not healthy but if I am going to splurge I figure I will do it right.

Thank you sherrinut. I was doing a general search on Victorian ranch/farmhouse house plans. I was looking for a style that I thought would look great in a location near water and yet still blend in depending on the colors you choose. I was wanting it to be over the top in regards entertaining. I have a huge family on my mothers side. My grandparents had 16 children. A few sets were twins. I know my mother has 8 siblings still alive. I have a ton of cousins too. But in regards to family I also wanted a place that felt cosy enough to feel like a true home and not just another house. With areas inside to do family type functions when the weather is bad. With a body of water out side like a river it makes for great out door activities. I could really see an infinity pool out the back door over looking that river Jack found. Add a gazebo near the river maybe with a dock and we are talking fun times.

A place to wind down after a long day and just relax with your loved ones.
Yes I like southern plantation style homes. I was looking at some very beautiful plans just out of curiosity the other day. Some of them were magnificent. Here are some pictures of the styles available. <a http://www.google.com/search?q=southern+plantatio...

You know DBCoop...I have a firm belief that when one is making guesses or trying to solve a problem their first choice is usually the right one. From the beginning in clue One you stated that Savannah, Georgia around Skidaway Island is what the clues seemed to be pointing to. I have to say I am in agreement with you on that. The only other place I can think of would be Kukuiula, Hawaii. That was another of your possible choices also the only ones that are making any sense.
