You would have to be stupid not to want clean air, clean water, and natural places left natural forever, but as with most things, the leftists go beyond reason in their attempts to achieve these things, with Man left as an afterthought.
I was thinking that as well (at first). When I did a Google search, the only news on this was either on this site, or links to this site. I wish it was just a test.

My teenaged kids had been watching this show for quite a while before I saw it. It is fantastic! I laugh more when watching that show than just about any TV comedy out there, and certainly more than what Hollywood tries to pass off as a "comedy" movie. I think this show would be a regular network hit if it was on in primetime. (just the goofy names Shawn comes up for Gus makes the show worth watching)

There is actually more hope for Maher than a lot of people! His open mocking of Christianity indicates that the Holy Spirit is battling with him. The Holy Spirit doesn't mess with someone He doesn't want! I too was a Christian mocker many years ago and lived long enough to be convicted by that same Holy Spirit. As much as we despise the guy, God loves him, and through our prayers, and the Holy Spirit, the idiot could very well surprise us all some day by publicly acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord! The biggest hurdle to salvation is pride, and it's all too obvious that guy has so much pride it bursts out his seams!
We get "Mallard Fillmore" as the counterpoint to Doonesbury in our local paper. Most of Mallard's comments are footnoted with actual facts, unlike the innuendo and lies of Doonesbury.
You apparently don't realize that modern "liberalism" is essentially marxism/socialism. You cite the U.S. revolution as an example of liberalism, and apparently espouse it's greatness, yet you now want to discard all that was started and largely maintained for over 200 years? Black people aren't slaves largely because of a REPUBLICAN president. I'm not sure which party was behind the 16th? Amendment (women right to vote). Gay people could always serve in the military (why they, or anyone, would want to make how they have sex a public issue is pretty strange). So please defend the modern, liberal view that more government is better, that the government is best at determining how children should be educated, how people should eat, etc., etc. THAT is what modern liberalism is all about.
