I really don't understand how Oregon looked so terrible. Granted, the new QB they brought in was injured and it affected his passing game. But that Oregon D looked like they are not going to be able to stop anyone. Maybe it was just an off night, but I think we can exploit that D for some serious yardage. And if we can do that, we might keep up in a shoot-out. Can't wait. Really hope Sefo's shoulder settles down and his accuracy returns. Go Buffs!

Yes, losing a game will make a team focus. Losing badly will make them angry. CU was angry after the Hawaii mess. Oregon is going to be angry. However, Oregon doesn't look like its usual self, particularly on Defense. Let's go show off our new, and constantly improving, run game against them! Here's to Liufau's shoulder feeling more like normal and him having a great week of practice. Go Buffs!

Great to see Bell all over the field yesterday. That kid is a baller! I very much hope we see Apsay become #2 QB soon, we might need him. Hoping Liufau's shoulder calms down and he can practice properly this week. Spruuuuuccceeee! Besides Liufau's shoulder problem/over throws, the biggest thing that bothered me yesterday was Gonzalez missing that field goal. Just seems like he rushed or something. He strikes me as someone who could be money in any situation, but needs to bring that absolute focus at the time of the kick. Hope he gets there soon, we are gonna need him. Go Buffs!

Great game, Buffs! Worried about Liufau's shoulder, but hopefully gets more healing this week. How great to see so many back ups play and make plays! How long since we were able to clear the bench in a game like that? The 90's? Ducks look remarkably mortal. Utah is good, but they got plenty of help from Helfrich playing an injured QB and then yanking him after they were down two TD's... AND by a terrible Duck's defense. Suddenly next week seems very interesting! Go Buffs!

Not loving this news. Liufau is a tough SOB, but we already knew that. It is going to be a long season and an injury like this so early is likely not good. This weekend, I hope they only play Liufau for 1st Quarter and then let the other QB's get some serious play time. I would love to feel like Gehrke is a solid backup, but haven't seen proof of that in any of his playing time so far. Would love for Apsay to get some real serious play time. But most of all, hoping Liufau doesn't miss any play time this season!

I look forward to Crawley being a lock down corner for the majority of the season. I think the problem he has at times is that he can "get by" against a lot of receivers by his talent alone. But this season, he is going to be challenged by many of the best receivers in college football and he will need to be fully focused and confident every snap. Glad to see the Hawaii performance seemed to wake him up. Cheering for you to make the nation notice your talents, Mr. Crawley! Go Buffs!

Correct, VK. CU could get to 6 wins and ask the NCAA for a waiver to be bowl eligible since they are playing 13 games this season. Because CU plays in one of the toughest divisions in college ball, CU would still be a good team for an exciting bowl. Agreed. I kept thinking after the Hawaii game loss that maybe they should have spent less time "picking the uniforms for each game" and more time actually worrying about the game itself. And with that said, and possibly because of the Hawaii lack of performance, I have to say that the any of the gray choices are not my fav.

That was uglier than it should have been, but I'm happy to have the win. I don't understand the clock management (lack of it) on that final 4th quarter drive... we didn't even call a timeout until there was only 9 seconds left on the clock... ?? We had all three and what were we waiting to use them for, especially because the play calling certainly wasn't stellar on that final drive (questionable play calling, that's new). And what is it under the MacIntyre era that we simply - never - seem - ready - to - start - a - game? 14 point hole before we start playing, does that sound like nearly every Conference game we played last year? How can this still be a problem? Positives were many, too. Liufau had a good game, Olugbode looked great, the D was stout most of the game. Glad Ross got his first TD. I wish Gonzalez had won it in regulation, but glad he shook it off to get the game winner right down the middle. Very entertaining game. Go Buffs!

Based on two games, seems a bit early to claim Buffs' O-Line will be just fine, especially considering the results of the Hawaii game. The loss of Irwin is such a shame... and he was there for the Hawaii mess. The Buffs' O-Line will have their work cut out for themselves this week. If they grade out strong after this weekend's game, then I will much more hopeful that we are going to be okay in Pac-12 play.
