Rancho Cordova Post : Man Walks Into Hwy 50 Traffic After Crashing Vehicle

The report said he's been hospitalized; but I would think that two major accidents like that would cause some serious damage.

That's fantastic that the school is being so proactive. I agree that a lot of the preparation for situations like these begin in the home. I must say that I am awfully proud of both of these boys for making the smart decision to run away and tell someone immediately.

Rancho Cordova Post : Rancho Cordova Woman Dies in Single Car Accident

scojo- The information that was released on the 4th reported that Sarah Berner "died when her car overturned on the light rail tracks". If none of the news media got it right, it's probably because only the one report has been released at this time, and we were reporting from the information that was available. I've just called RCPD, and no new information is available at this time. I do not want to misrepresent the facts, especially on a subject such as this, where so many people are hurting. My prayers go out to the family members of the victims of this accident.

Rancho Cordova Post : Thou Shalt Not Rifle Through Thy Neighbor's Trash

Sarah, The few people who came down your street might not have made a mess, but it seems as though this has been a real problem for some neighborhoods and businesses more than others. Just because City Council created the ordinance doesn't mean it wasn't illegal in the first place. If the cans are on private property that would be trespassing. If the cans were on the street, that would be stealing as the garbage cans (and whatever is in them) is property of Allied Waste.
