Map depicts some deep red for Columbia SC, and orange for Wilmington NC/ Myrtle BeachSC. I was in Wilmington one weekend last month for a friend's family reunion and visited a Belk store for the first time in ages. The sales register where I was rung up in the "department" I was shopping, included on its cluttered counter a real dinosaur of a computer maybe a sales processing unit, complete with floppy disk drive and the dingy beige color so characteristic of 90s models. Proven not very stain resistant and had acquired a signature pallor of outmoded-ness.

That was my reaction to this post's headline. If Drumpfy didn't actually indicate he had been believing Puerto Rico was in Mexico - - even if that's been suggested for exaggerative purposes - - do I really need to have an extra heart attack risk alert or my blood pressure raised to that much more an elevated level? I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I think perpetrators of racism deserve to stand in the other shoes and experience a visual reversal of roles. Haha, that's exactly where I'm going> But I have lived in SC as a youngster and spent a year in Columbia as a post-grad. Columbia is where we're staying for this event. Thought about catching a local Fireflies ball game to watch Tim Tebow** as a bonus, for laffs; alas he got called up so it'll just be a regular small scale game with local flavor. (That good Christian boy must've nearly tinkled himself when he got the message 'called up,' it does sound akin to getting raptured)

Yeah, sorry bout that 2nd linked youtube promo for the event.. that band member runs at the camera and the viewer unfortunately gets a millisecond close-up of his short-shorts' crotch.
