When Boortz does something like that, I take it with a grain of salt. I live in Atlanta and have listened to Neal a long time. Having said that, Neal has a couple of hot buttons that really tick me off when he gets those stuck in his craw.

1. He has a problem with evangelicals and calls them "fundies," short for "fundamentalists." He ridicules them every chance he gets, and I think that's probably why he's out to hurt Santorum. He doesn't think church teachings belong ANYWHERE, even when it comes to morality and personal responsibility.

2. He REFUSES to talk about abortion, but he says it's because he can never convince pro-lifers to go pro-choice. He believes wholly in a woman's right to choose, and so the edict for his show is that no caller is allowed on the air if they want to talk about abortions.

When he starts bashing religion or people who are pro-life, I have to turn him off because he gets so "militant" about it, and it turns me off. The older he gets, the worse he gets about it, too.

If those vids are so "damning" of Santorum, I cannot IMAGINE anything he's said to be any more "damning" of things that Romney has said or supported in his Sybil-like policy or social stances. Santorum would make a fine President, and Neal is just afraid that conservative Christians will try to dictate all policy.

Sometimes I just wish Neal would pipe down about those two issues because they are a turn off the way he bashes people who are believers.

What's on my mind today is Obamanomics and this regime's regulatory plans have made me a new member of the unwashed masses of the unemployed. I, along with 5 of my former co-workers, were laid off, and now at the age of 49 will have to find a new job. I was so spitting mad, and I know this loss is not directly "Teh Won's" fault, but damnit, his admin's policies haven't made it any easier for businesses to do well or to stay afloat.

I was so pi$$ed off that I came home after packing my office, and immediately took to Twitter... I Tweeted this:

"Hey @BarackObama - so you say the economy's on an upswing? Tell that to me and 5 of my co-workers who were just laid off today. #F&CKOFF #DOU>HEBAG"

(Without the special symbols, however, because I didn't want to get caught in the filters here.)

49 and having to start over again... I'm still reeling from it. But, as a friend reminded me, when God closes a door, he opens many others for you. I just need to get over this funk hump I'm in right now. I hope I can resist the urge to not run the next person off the road if I see they have an Obama/Biden sticker on their car. Thanks for nothing, Barry.

Nope, my friend who is a Jersey City cop said the order is for "all flags."

*sigh*

My friend, who is former Marine, current Air Force Reserves, and active Jersey City cop is so P-O'd about this. Here's what he had to say:

"...did you hear our governor ordered all flags at half staff for Whitney Houston? He failed to honor LCpl Osbrany Montes De Oca, USMC, KIA in Afghanistan, of North Arlington NJ. He was killed about the same time as Houston."

I'm more and more disappointed in Christie as the days go by.

Hi, Kathleen. Over the past weekend, I found this video and it really stunned me. You may be right about this idea, because I was shocked to see this many blacks come together to diss Dear Leader.

It's long, but it dang sure is worth listening to every second of.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but knowing the history of L&O, the rapist would have been some big capitalist or some right-wing radio talk-show host or TV personality...I bet you can guess who the usual suspects would have been.

I've long admired Taylor Swift. Nobody has to encourage me to do so - she's such a refreshing figure in the realm of celebrity. She's a very grounded, respectful young lady. Why do you think the world-wide condemnation of Kanye West was so profound and impactful? Exactly... Taylor is EVERYBODY'S sweetheart, and you better not mess with her. Even Beyonce looked horrified at what Kanye did.

I'm sorry, but I liked "American Beauty" A LOT, and I hated it that I did, especially knowing Kevin Spacey is a leftist tool. I liked the movie so much I bought the DVD and the score by Thomas Newman (LOVE his scores). For me, there are some movies that just go beyond messaging and become something etherial you cannot explain, but just enjoy. I am in that camp.
