kloe, very well stated, couldn't agree more! I think Nader supporters need to organize statewide & try to get legislation passed to change the running for ofc requirements.. IF we can register to vote on the same day why does anyone who wants to be a representative of the people have such a difficult task to get on a ballot?I know the obvious answer but would that not be a good start? I think we got to start taking more responsibility & not be so co-dependent on Ralph & Matt.. . Just a thought!

gee, ed word, i don't know, as I certainly am no computer whizz, but on my favorites to get here it states Nader-Camejo 2004....I hope they keep this site going, because I think the REAL work lies ahead, & when CHANGE doesn't come, in my opinion, we will need direction. i am starting my own email blitz on this "bailout" & I started with Madame Spkr regarding "accountability & feasibility" starting in the house, Congress, & maybe the tough questions should have been asked prior to passing 700bil with 150bil in pork added.....it really is full frontal assault on the working class.....what will it take for the average Joe to get it? I cannot get over this quesy feeling....& the belief they could cure this "crisis" anytime they damn well want....

I think Ms. Pelosi should bring "accountability & feasiblity" to the House, & the questions they are asking now should have been asked prior to voting for a 700 billion dollar "bailout", but of course accountability for them would have to admit the fact they added 150 billion for PORK prior to saying yes to the Bush adm "Crisis" tarp bailout...& now in my opinion the MSM (I really should pick another way to identify myself here!) has the eye of the storm on Detroit & those UNIONS responsible for this whole mess & how the american public buys their BS....another reason I believe the average voter isn't too awfully intelligent....& why we keep ending up with the "lesser of two evils" gag me, evil is evil & they truly are the evils of two lessers....I am still feeling quesy, I cannot believe how dummed down America is becoming. In 1988 Perot got 19% of the popular vote & the MSM & "both parties" have been working overtime to make sure it never happens again. I have blogged elsewhere that the "two parties" greatest fear in not each other but the electing of a third....

as well, I would like to say, with what I have been hearing (MSM) many voters, imo, didn't even know what they were voting for.....not realizing who Pelosi is, or that the dems were in control of Congress for they past two yrs.....when you think about it, it's quite frightening....that your personal fate & the nations is in dimbulbs hands....I really don't know how to express what I am feeling.....but it is an uneasy, quesy sort of state of mind.....

I agree with all the aforementioned! there is no such thing any longer called in depth, investigative reporting, & since the main stream media is corporate owned....I voted correctly (again!) for REAL change & NOT business as usual by casting my vote for Nader/Gonzales. I don't understand how persons totally unrepresented by either party can cast their vote for either one.....& I sincerely believe that encompasses just about all of us!
