I truly agree - if a show is on after 9pm, small children shouldn't be watching! And once kids hit 12 or 13? It's not like they are hearing anything they haven't heard before. Parents are perfectly welcome to decide what their children can and can't watch - do we really need councils and clubs making those decisions for us?

Agreed. You don't take a job working with KILLER whales without realizing that you are taking certain risks. Imagine if fire fighters were required by OSHA to stay several feet back from a blazing building because, OMG they are at risk. Toddlers are picky, and there's not much any mother can do about it! Just keep offering Dawson some new foods. Eventually might try one or two of them. And then he might like one! His tastes will grow up eventually, as long as the options to grow up are there.
