MetsBlog.com : Note: Luis Castillo's Slow Start

Mookie grow up ok I am not being disrespectful to Matt which I can't say the same for you towards me. I gave Matt an honest opinion in his best interest plain and simple. He is a grown Man and I am pretty sure he can speak for himself if he feels to do so.

Matt with all due respect but if you expect us to believe that a "Thank you. I appreciate the feedback." is not just a bit sarcastic based on what your saying thanks to then I don't know what else to tell you.

MetsBlog.com : Must Read: Santana is Finding his Rhythm

I agree Ollie's contract may end up to be a better deal. I agree its too early to assess these contracts. The fear is that while the Mets may have done all the right things in an attempt to be fiscally responsible and looking at both pitchers long term. In 2009 Lowe may (I stress may)have been the player we needed to cement the rotation. It's up to Ollie to make good on his contract and so far before pitching a game there is reason for some (again just some) concern.

I really have to wonder if you are for real or just looking to have some fun. In any event the idea that you like coming hear to see what we say for the last 2 years is probably a sign that you A. might just be a wannabe Mets Fan or B. just someone that loves to gloat over the misery of your rivals. either way your just weak.

I think the Mets will always choose to move a player with options before they release a player so its logical that Evans was sent down plus when Livan is due to be called up expect the same thing to happen again a player with options will be moved before they release a player. On another note I did this banner of what I wish Matt would of used for MetsBlog tell me what you think http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3589/3415951728_80...

MetsBlog.com : Quote: Manuel on Perez's Poor Outing

I would normally agree with you Steve but I feel after the last 2 seasons the Mets mindset must be that every game is important. The idea that the getaway game on the tail end of a series has less meaning in April should be the farthest from their mind due to the fact they have kept falling 1 game short of the post season for 2 years now. "Every Game Is Important" the sooner they accept that the better their mindset will be. I am not saying every time they lose they should act like their season is over. I just am saying going into and during they should act like every game is game 162.

2009 NY MetsBlog Mission Statement 1. We will not complain on Metsblog about a NY Met. 2. We will rally our team in spite of their flaws. 3. Every game will be treated as game 162. 4. We will not celebrate till we clinch a post season birth no matter how big a lead we may have. 5. Lets Go Met's will be our rallying cry. 6. All games vs Phillies we will make our voices heard unmercifully so as to strike fear in their hearts. 7. We will vote all of our blue & orange to the All Star game. 8. We will not be concerned with our cross town rivals unless we are facing them on the field. 9. Booing will be only for the visiting team. 10. Citi Field is our house only the Blue & Orange are welcome. We will give "Home Field Advantage" meaning again. Lets Go Mets!!!

Francesa has said what many know that Sheffield's mouth has been a problem. Minaya's reply to that is if he says something improper they will take him aside and discuss it. Basically if he tries to stir things up there will be low tolerance for that.
