OMG, I just discovered that you CAN stream the show LIVE on Bravo's site (www.bravotv.com). You just need a valid username/password for a cable provider. Do you have any friends or relatives who have cable and might allow you to use their log-in credentials? This is apparently new. They've offered "next day streaming" before, but i don't know when they started this "live streaming" thing. I'm hoping this can get more cable-less folks (and maybe folks in other time zones?) into the live blog.

Unfortunately, not live (that I know of). I think they stream it after the fact on Bravo's website.

Ha! Yes, the comment section is Kinja, which I agree is not without it's issues ... On the upside, it's easy to create an account if you don't have one -- you click the "Sign Up" link in the upper-right corner of the Morning After homepage. Takes only a couple of seconds! But ... yeah. I feel you. :-)

Just saw this in an episode of "Transparent" (great show). I figure it's because the actress (Carrie Brownstein) won't do nudity, but the show-runners didn't want to give up on showing a sex scene with her character anyway (since the show is approximately 30% sex scenes).

But once I star you as a Morning After "approved commenter," your comments will appear normally from that poitn on. I try to approve every new commenter as quickly as I spot their first comment.

Hello Everyone! Just popped by to announce that I'll be hosting an open thread chat-party for the new season of Top Chef, starting this Wednesday (Oct. 15) on the Morning After blog www.morningafter.gawker.com. This will be just like the "Live Blogging Top Chef" feature I hosted for years on Gawker. We've been doing Project Runway liveblogs on Morning after all summer/fall (under my real name, Ned Frey), and it's been great fun -- so we're going to bring back the Top Chef liveblog too. All you need to do is show up and start commenting under a special "Open Thread" post I'll be writing, which will go up around 9 pm Eastern this coming Wednesday (the show starts at 10). If you don't have a Kinja commenting account, it's easy to create one - just click the "sign up" link in the upper-right corner of the Morning After homepage. I had a blast doing the old TC live blogs and chatting with so many of you over the years, so I'd love it if some of the old gang could return to for this new edition of the party. We can revive some of our amusing pastimes, such as playing "How Stoned is Padma?" and inventing TC drinking game rules. (And would could be better than amusing pastimes? Nothing, I say!) Hello folks. I have an announcement to make: The "Live Blogging Project Runway" feature I used to host on Gawker is returning next Thursday (for at least one episode, anyway). The Morning After blog (www.morningafter.gawker.com)," Gawker's new sub-blog devoted to TV discussion, will be hosting the live blog -- and publishing a special post I'll be writing for the occasion -- for the premiere episode of Project Runway Season 13, which airs next Thursday, July 24, on Lifetime at 9 pm. Morning After blog founder (and Television Without Pity alum) Jacob Clifton has agreed to try this out for next Thursday's premiere episode to see how it goes. So if it goes well (e.g., lots of commenters show up and participate), we may be able to keep it going for the rest of the season. And after that, maybe even bring back the Top Chef live blog next fall (who knows?). FYI for those who never partook previously: The way these "live blogs" work is we all watch the episode together and live-chat about it in the comments section. There are are drinking games, and just drinking without games, and punning, and contestant-nicknaming, and general revelry, snarkery and jocularity for all.
