All Facebook : BranchOut Users Fill My Wall With Posts, Explodes In Popularity

For a Job Hunter, BranchOut does expose available jobs I am not seeing on LinkedIn. Other than that, that is all I am seeing BranchOut does today.

Texas Startup Blog : To clarify a few things. . .

Maybe your blog will lead to DMN doing another story and cover all of your effort you make to the Dallas StartUp arena since you are so much more to the StartUp community than someone who picks up the bar tap the 1st Monday of each month...which by the way I want to go on record Thanking You for doing that.

Texas Startup Blog : Paying to Pitch (revisited again)

I look at the Pay-to-Pitch program maybe being worth it if there was a guarantee the StartUp would received some level of funding but since that guarantee was not made in what I am reading here then it seems to be more of a racket belonging in Vegas more than in the StartUp Venture Capital arena. Good call Alex..carry on.

Kyle Lacy, Social Media - Indianapolis : When Should Business Engage in Social Media

Kyle, Leave it to you to hammer the issue. I have my waders on ready to wade into the flood to pull the golf businesses out so they survive. It is very unfortunate that Social Media is not getting the recognition in the mainstream marketing arena. Maybe logic does not prevail there. Anyway, lets keep hammering at the floodgates and get this show on the road.

I have to agree with ya. Things are not acting or reacting the way they did ten minutes ago. One thing we thought was certain...that business must go on...is not certain since nobody seems to be wanting to do any business that requires any transaction of actual funds. Are there answers and solutions, we can only hope.

Dumb Little Man : 7 Simple Time Management Rules For the Super Busy

This approach is good if (and that is "I" "F" in big capital letters) someone (like the boss or company) does not schedule your day for you. This is a growing issues with layoffs and workforce cuts. Company owners and uninformed (overly educated) managers start using math to figure how all the projects that have to be completed from the remaining workforce which means those left to do the work have to double (or triple) their work load to keep the company's revenue flowing so the Owners and Executives can keep drawing their salaries. Time management is a very profitable tool if it is used correctly. However too many times delegating something to do to someone else as a way of managing the originator's time is not time managing...its called Dumping which makes time managing worst since it means even more time has to be scheduled for someone to redo what was deligated to someone who was Overloaded. I use the One Thing at a Time method and schedule all the time I need for that one Thing to get it done...this illiminates dumping off to someone else who is already working on their 'One thing'. Great blog BTW.

Mr Business Golf : Will Golf Change?

Mr Business Golf : Green Fees are going UP!?!?!

Sixty, I am with ya and don't get me started on Country Club Membership Fees going up. I still think that some of creditors of some of the clubs serving a large debt are going to have take a hit for the risk they took. Higher membership fees and higher green fees are not going to get them out of debt..

Mr Business Golf : What's Hurting Social Media

Laser Focus! I like that....Yes, I see a lot of the shotgun approach to blogging. It is a shame since it produces so very little ANYTHING. In my seminars I show newbies to la-la-land how to cut out the noise and avoid these guys and gals who go 'Bird Hunting' on the internet. Seems there are more people like me and you who are trying to clear the smoke out of the internet so everyone can see how to use this business tool. Thanks for your support.

Mr Business Golf : What It Cost to Play Golf?

Some of these costs were pretty shocking as I pull it together. I am like you. Have played for so many years and have the cost built into life style it was concerning to look at this report. However, for the benefits I had gained over the years, both professionally and personally, golf still is much, much more profitable than any other activity I have been involved with..and believe me, I have tried most. Thanks for yoror comment.
