I believe this is total hogwash. No one has been contacted and if they had why aren't we being informed. Unbelievable, why was their a due date and a month later NOTHING. I'm very frustrated and I'm starting to be a believer. If someone won, best of luck and congrats.

I feel the same way shaniajam. It would be a great place for the kids. I know if I don't win, I would really hope to have the opportunity to live in Serenbe someday. And of course, I would love to hire that same architect and everything. I really do love that house. Right now it is just a daydreams of 'ifs'.

I would love to see the tile in person. I bet because it is glass tile the pictures cannot fully do it justice, making it look flatter in color than it really is since most glass tile plays with the light around it, and those windows must give it a beautiful glowing quality.

I was thinking that, too. It was ingenious idea. It is both beautiful in how it adds a defining textural element to the space, it hides the grill away, and it helps add some privacy. I love it when something is multi-functional.

I didn't realize someone planted a blueberry plant. That is awesome. That reminds me though, do they get bears in that area? My grandparents had a house in NC once, and I think a bear got to some apples my granddad left in the back of his truck.

There is something so beautiful about this little house. I second or third the others who can't go on one of the tours to say, please do let us know what it was like. And Serenbe seems like such a magical place. I hope more green communities like this can be developed all over the U.S. If I don't win, I just hope I can someday give my family and myself an eco-friendly home in a community like this.

Is the pool just for the inn, and if it is, is there a community pool in Serenbe?

I can't help going through at least some if not all of the picture collections everyday. The house is so beautiful. So far this house and the New Mexico house have been my favorites. I think it is the big windows and the open design, and of course Linda brings it all to life with her fabulous decorating. I can't wait to see the tour tomorrow, and I know if I don't win, I will have some wonderful new ideas to add to my dream home dreaming.
