The neglect of National Prayer Day.....Wow...okay I know he wanted to honor this day in private...but he's not a private person anymore..he chose to run for President...have some respect and dignity for those honorable men who came before you....When there was a crisis facing our Beautiful America....they recognized a higher,omnipotent power to call upon when our Country was being threatened by the enemy...Whatever you may believe Mr President,that we are not a Judaic/Christian Nation....I think the best thing for you is to literally get on your knees and thank the Dear Lord above....America was founded upon God-Fearing Men...with Principles and Values...we must not lose sight of our Nations Heritage.....Wake Up Already!

His whole speech this morning was so contradictory.... What do you mean, when you say you don't intend to run GE,yet you say you'll have your team follow along for the next 30 or 60 days to make sure their restructuring plan works...give me a break...and not to mention the preying on the innocent workers in Detroit...using the good ole' MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD' tactic...it's really getting old...I'm just saying..Socialism is staring us in the face and being shoved down our throats...we NEED to stay strong w/our core belief system which are the 9 Principles and 12 Values that are noted here and not let any of this Sweet talk per say persuade us otherwise....He wants to prey on the weak and feeble-minded but we need to show America that we are not Weak, Stupid,Ignorant or Passive....Let's go 912'ers until we see CHANGE and I mean CHANGE where the CONSTITUTION is preserved and our FREEDOM is protected!We want GOvernment out of the Private Sector!

You deserved to be on that cover and should be on many more.....I'm actually impressed with the New York Times.....BTW You totally amazed me how you challenged the Attorney General of Conn today....we need to challenge every politician that violates the Constitution or uses the Bully-Pulpit tactic...thanks for standing up for what's right...We all are enraged by the AIG guys getting bonuses...but frankly...we should be more outraged against the Feds/Chris Dodds people for allowing that to be signed into a legal contract therefore making it the law...No one except you has really made that point,and I commend you whole-heartedly...Had they knew what the other hand was doing,we wouldn't be in this mess...or more accurately...had they READ the dang final proposal (like the 5,000 or so page Stimulus Package)that was also never READ...we wouldn't be in this frigggggin Catasrophe!!!

545 PEOPLE By Charlie Reese Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits? Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes? You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred Senators, 435 Congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices , 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank. I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes. Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits... The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist. If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red . If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ ... If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way. There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess! You can send this to everyone in your address book and hope "they" do something about it. 2. You can agree to "vote against" everyone that is currently in office, knowing that the process will take several years. 3. Lastly, you can sit back, do nothing and continue to re-elect the current bunch. -Finally, the truth about who is to blame Ultimately we as voters are to blame for blindly pulling the lever for the same people. I do believe with the writer, we as voters need to throw them all out and start over. My 2 cents for Glenn Beck's Wish List : After watching Obama's Press Conference last night...It's the same ole' feel good rhetoric that he keeps saying...What I clearly got out of it was that he truly is leading our country down that road to Socialism which essentially will lead our country to Communism!It's coming if we don't stop him NOW! Anything that our President proposes that echo's Socialism in any way,shape or form we need NOT support..here's the evidence that they are leading us down that road. And truly destroying the CONSTITUTION! 1. The Treasury Secretary Geitner is asking (begging) congress to allow him and the Fed's more power,and their justification is that this is an emergency situation. President agrees with this.Let us not be lulled away into a false security.Let us not become misguided dupes of which there are many throughout this free world. More government is the problem,Not the Solution. 2. Unconstitutional Taxation...AIG fiaso...That's when the governments plunder and than legalize it. Greed,Covetousness,Dishonesty,Idleness, are not made virtues because they become the prompting guiding traits of groups or the populous. 3. Deliberate plans of Deficit...Obama's Outrageous Budget Package.His course is understandable to me on no other premise than that they deliberately plan a continuous policy of enormous taxes and deficit peace spending which will finally end in debt repudiation. Our children's futures are lost...No nation in the world,not even the strongest in the world, can continue to pile up huge deficits without risking Inflation, a loss of Integrity in it's money,an international collapse of confidence in that nation's soundness, and worse..the end of such a course is national bankruptcy. Inflation is itself an immoral act on the part of the government.Evidence it's starting to happen,China wants a new Global currency(not the American dollar).Go figure. 4.The Paramount issue today is Liberty against Creeping Socialism...Communist dupes and left-wingers use every strategism to make socialism sound appealing and seem inevitable. Their aims for the U.S. include greatly expanded wasteful spending (earmarks,bailouts,stimulus packages that don't stimulate etc.), higher and higher taxes, increasingly unbalanced budgets, wild inflation followed by government controls over our economy and lives (debilitating families with dependancy on Welfare,Nationalized Health Care etc.)greater centralization of power in Washington and so on and so forth. 5. The Welfare State....The truth is that the government cannot give if it does no take from somebody. A subsidy is never paid by the government out of it's own funds; it is at the expense of the taxpayer that the state grants subsidies.Obama is sending the wrong message and people are being misled with the idea that they can get something for nothing and are not encouraged to work for what they need and desire. 6. Cap and Trade...He wants to end Free Market...Capitalism and by use of FORCE spread the wealth... 7. Lastly..Socialists/Communists will use such tactics as propaganda, demonstrations, appeals for sympathy, operating through front groups (ACORN), infiltrating and gaining control of non-Communist organizations,with special emphasis on labor unions and youth groups (ACORN again and AL GORE corrupting our children)the list can go on....I just want YOU the AMERICAN PEOPLE to read between the lines the next time our President speaks.Instead of Change we are getting a Cover-Up.This condition poses the question of whether we have a Republican form of government, or we have a bureaucratic oligarchy, in which the bureaucrats are responsible to no one except themselves. I understand where you're coming from,and I too am kinda frazzled by everything...one thing I learned today is the gathering of 912er's at different Tea Party locations across the nation on Apr 15th....that's a start as far as a tangible goal....but I'm pretty sure in the upcoming weeks with this being a new site and everyone still just introducing themselves to this Project..we'll start to solidify exactly how we're going to approach this...and be a bit more organized...but in the mean time..take advantage of the many comments who have posted links of ways to email/write to our President and Congress as well as our local reps that we need this Big Government Spending to END....and do everything in our power as the American People to voice our concerns so that we will fulfill our obligation as an American citizen to Protect our Freedom and Preserve the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.....I'm with ya Paul.....God Bless America! I posted a couple of hours ago the fox news tea party link to find the different locations in different states where they will be holding their tea-parties but there were still some cities that were TBA...One of them was in my state of Utah...here's the info for us 912er's in Salt Lake City,Ut....thanks to the great team of administrators on FaceBook that got the protest permit approved by the city and federal building!Thank You! It's so nice to read all of these comments and suggestions,to really know that I do not stand alone....I feel True Patriotism from you all....Like prouddad said..we all don't know everything,so it's nice to have this forum to talk and share and educate one another....as well as do our own research in trying to help solve the many problems that we are facing today....Our Constitution is being threatened and it is our obligation as American Citizen's to safeguard our freedom and preserve the Constitution... "Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President or any other public official save exactly to the degree in which he himself stands by the country. It is patriotic to support him insofar as he efficiently serves the country. It is unpatriotic not to oppose him to the exact extent that by inefficiency or otherwise he fails in his duty to stand by the country. In either event, it is unpatriotic not to tell the truth - whether about the President or anyone else - save in the rare case where this would make known to the enemy information of military value which would otherwise be unknown to him." May God keep that spirit burning forever in the hearts of the men who continue to lead it...They announced their faith when they blazoned upon our coin the motto,"In God we trust." They breathed it into their songs when they said: Our fathers' God to thee, Author of Liberty, To thee we sing - Long may our land be bright, With Freedom's holy light, Protect us by they might, Great God, our King! Other nations might boast of their kings, but the King of America,proclaimed bu the patriotic fathers who founded it and established it, is the great God of heaven.This must be the sentiment of the people of America if these glorious institutions shall be preserved, and in OUR hands is the sacred keeping of these great and glorious principles.
