Dane, Thank you for stopping by. I agree with you on the location for this movie.. who would have thunk it that it was just outside of NYC. I enjoyed City Island... I just did not think it lived up to the standards that I was reading on other blogs. It id s good solid flick. Try Shades of Ray ( I have the review on this site). It was a very nicely crafted comedy... then there is and I can not believe I am about to recommend this) Hot Tub Time Machine. It was really really funny! I was afraid to watch it at first. I thought it was going to be in the"American Pie" genre.. wow, was I pleasantly surprised. It has subtle little chuckles in it that only the +45'ers will appreciate.

Ashley, Did I mention in the review that Ryan Reynolds is a gorgeous hunk of flesh??? The movie is really good. In all seriousness, he really is an underrated actor in the Brad Pitt vain...something about pretty men being dismissed as talented beyond looks. Nin9s is a good flick.. I hope you enjoy! JuJu

Kenzi, I can appreciate where you are coming from with being confused. I can offer this piece of advice if you would like to give the movie another try. Go into like you were viewing 3 separate stories. That might make it easier for you to view and it will not take anything away from the movie experience. Thank you Frank for the feedback. I know first-hand that Bronson is not your typical film of choice. You went out of your movie comfort zone and were able to actually enjoy this film.

Mark, I have a different thought I would like to share with you in regards to #3. It may not be laziness that gets individuals stuck.. it is also fear. I saw that fear firsthand with a certain blogmeister... Frank, for many years. I think because of past mistakes of living #1 and its failing. The fear kept him wanting more and more and more information before he felt he could make a significant step. Thank god he saw the light and stopped being the perpetual student. We are all the better for his graduation! It also helps when you have an amazing wife that believes and supports you in the process. I never knew about Puppy Chow until you brought me to the Mid West. Y'all eat some odd shit round here. Tasty for the most part, just odd. Guess that's why I likes it.
