Nebraska is a member of the academically prestigious Association of American Universities...the last time I looked Kirkwood JC was not a member of the 63-member AAU.

GazetteOnline.com : Nebraska seeking Big Ten membership

I'm a Hawkeye fan and have lived in Missouri for the past 30 years....Mizzou doesn't belong in the Big 10...in basketball, Iowa plays Iowa State, Drake, and Northern Iowa...Mizzou refuses to play Missouri State...in football, the first thing Pinkel did when he arrived at Mizzou was to see that Mizzou canceled the 2005 and 2006 games with the Hawkeyes...Mizzou: a gutless athletic department the Big 10 does not need + Mizzou is weak in academics and that alone should keep them out of the Big 10.
