I may sound callous, but I really don’t care to hear the sob stories. As someone who goes on about his high skill set, you are probably not willing to accept a job that is “beneath you” and pays what you consider to be “insufficient”. Have you invested in your future when you were employed? If you did then you should have money to subsidize a low income until you can get a better job (yes, it would not be fun to deplete savings, but we do what we need to do), if not, shame on you. Unemployment is an enabler for poor financial planning and unwillingness to sacrifice.

Has anyone here ever made a comment to you such as, “I hope that you and your loved ones are brutally raped and killed.” I saw this one from two different people in the video. How could anyone wish such a thing on someone? And for what; differing ideals? It is sad that you can equate this to being called an idiot or moron.

Many will never get off the unemployment line because they have become comfortable with the handouts. The best way to get people off the unemployment line is to close the line.

Here is a prime example of projection; most people on this site see Obama as a socialist or leftist (we see him for what he stands for); whereas you define him as a black man and then call us racist.

As a man with a PhD in government affairs from Harvard, Dr. Alan Keyes should be intelligent enough and educated enough to know that Obama is great. This draws me to the logical conclusion that Dr. Keyes must be a racist for speaking out against our great president. (sarc)
