I work with a lot of Obama supporters (worshipers) and I would LOVE to have them be part of this program!

Everyone just needs to have a "game plan" in mind. But, I really don't think we are at the time to panic. It seems like everyone is on that brink and people need to step back and breathe. I agree with Glenn that you need to have a plan and be prepared. If the worst happens, you are all set... if it doesn't, you are all set.

As for me and my family... I am making sure our pantry is stocked and we have lots of water. I am not burying my head in the sand, but I am not in panic mode either.

I agree... It is NOT time to panic.

I work at a school and we have parents calling to ask when are we shutting down. We are not shutting down. We have procedures in place and are making parents aware of those procedures.

If everyone panics and schools shut down (when it is not yet needed), think of how that will effect everyone. Mass amounts of parents will not be able to go to work because they need to stay home and care for their children. Businesses would not have employees to run the business, so they would have to shut down. It would create a ripple effect and how would that effect our fragile economy?

Except in 1976 when we had an "outbreak" of the swine flu. One man died and the next thing you know everyone was getting a vaccine. There were no more deaths from the flu. However, the VACCINE caused many deaths and many people to become paralyzed.

Sometimes being aggressive is not always the answer.

Do you know that there was only ONE death in 1976 from the swine flu? It was the original death that prompted the vaccine. And it was the VACCINE that killed and paralyzed people? Be fully informed before you be the first to jump up and get the vaccine.
