SomalilandPress : Not All Somalis Are Created Equal

Personally i think the poll is a load of utter Xaar and it has highlighted alot of ignorant replies.no offence to the writer but what exactly are you trying to highlight? and to add injury to insult why are you so sceptical about the knowledge of the young internet clerk with regards to your blackberry im sure you weren't born with the knowledge to work a blackberry.i would laugh if it wasn't equally as insulting!, i agree with LuckyMe tribal segregation conflict is a constant reminder of why Somalia has been in a state of disaporia for nearly twenty years don't let your right for what you believe in become your wrong! P.s. for all those who keep adressing the people of the South remember we are all individuals but North,South,West or East we are all Misrepresented just don't cut of your Nose to spite your Face!

I say the Goverments of both Somalia and Somali-land should be overthrown by a bunch of fresh-minded educated, ambitious youngsters who haven't got greed and corruption at the fore front of their mind!

SomalilandPress : Dress to Impress: How to avoid being called "Dhaqan Celis"

Lol Somalilander its funny you should say so i think its just that they know i guess sometimes i wonder if its like a sixth sense, clothing isn't the only thing that often gives people away it i guess its our walk and talk. i remember when i went for the first time in 2005 i had alot of issues with their "attitude" as so to say but after a while you learn that this is their manner and they odten dont mean offence or harm, try to change their outlook on people from abroad by being positive and soon enough you will be sure to lose the "dhaqan celiis" tag

SomalilandPress : Have You Even Thought Tahrib (Illegal Emigrating)?

one may argue that its easy for me to say but if i had the choice i would have gladly chosen the life of a somali youngster than that one of a child growing up in the western world, for those that still insist on coming here i would say Rizq comes from Allah and people need to feed their Imaan with the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet SAW and like Jubba said Insha-Allah things will get better w/salam

Salam, i totally agree with Jubba but then on the other hand, people often rely on hearsay and gossip and they might hear one sucess storie of someone who has made it to the other side, they don't think realistically and often they envisage a better life but the western world isn't al its made out to be and im speaking from experience being born and raised in the west i have often wondered how my life would have been had i been born in the motherland? Money is often the ulterior motive when engaging in Tahrib but i guarantee you its a big gamble and those who get here often have to start life all over again with limited access to anything they often end up worriying about how to feed themselves let alone all those people they have left behind with hope that their relative has touched down in the west, i myself don't see the yearning people have for the western world and i vow that my children won't be raised here
