Wow. So angry :) when people resort to name calling and foul language to get points across seems incredibly... childish. Its uncalled for. I don't feel bad for you; I feel bad for everyone who has to endure the rath of your bitterness. Have you tried meds to help the temper you obviously have? I was raised to respect everyone and their opinions. After all; opinions are just that-OPINIONS. No need to use such discusting vulgar language just because someone has a differance of opinion than you. Does somones opinion negatively affect you or your life in any way? The answer is no. So chill out and debate with an open mind and show some respect. Thank you and hope you find peace!

Banks don't "delay" or "rush" debited and credits. HaHa. This has always made me laugh when people claim this. They have no controlled over when a debit or credit is processed. Its based off when the transactions are processed from whoever is trying to collect. Some company's batch transactions daily and some do not. The banks cant controlled when a company (or whoever) request the payment.

Right on! When you sign up for ANY type of OD protection you sign docs acknowledging you will have X as the fee to cover the purchace or check. Its just like any type of "loan". You borrow against it and there will be a charge. Im confused how people don't think this makes sense.

It cracks me up that I get thumbs down for explaining why BANKS do what they do. HaHa; Its not ME who makes the rules. I was simply explaining the reason why the policy was changed so people have a better understanding. I was simplly trying to help. I'm understanding and curtious to others and by reading other comments I see its acceptable to act like children and name call. I was brought up to treat people with respect and debate like an ADULT.Others opinions don't affect me so I think everyone should have one.. Just respect others opinions the way you demand yours to be respected. Life is so much better when you don't sweat the small stuff that doesn't negatively affect you. Much love to all! :) I mean no disrespect.

HaHa. You're absolutely correct. I'm a terrible speller. And? I'm a hard worker who cares deeply about helping others. I have a 3.4 GPA with one year left on my accounting degree. My point being that if being a terrible speller is the worst thing about me then I'm extreamely blessed and greatful that's the worst of my problems. Do you feel better about yourself now? :) I also failed to mention that its against federal laws for one bank to disclose specific info on a bank account. With the banks being linked they don't know if the account the check is drawn on has money in it. They are only told percentage wise the likely the check will be returned. All I was trying to do was explain HOW the system works for the people who don't understand ( which isn't their fault becauce I believe banks should educate thier customers so there WONT be confusion) I'm sorry my ability to spell offended you so greatly. Have a great day!

As far as "holding checks" people also don't realise that almost half of checks that are written are either fraud or bad (kiting). Banks are now linked so if you deposit a local check to your bank into a different local bank they know if that account at the other bank is natorious for returned checks they WILL hold it regaurdless how well you manage your account. So with that said you need to complain to the maker of the check not the bank.

I feel no sympathy for ANYONE who complains about paying a penalty for over drawing their account. Don't spend money you don't have-plain and simple. As far as it goes with the largest to smallest transactions clearing: the reason is the banks began doing that because people were b*itching about their car payments and mogages being rejected because the small transactions used to clear first (In the past) so they changed the order so people would have large important charges like that paid FIRST. Ive been a banker for 8 years. People will always blame the banks when they don't balance their books. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELVES. Stop blaming banks because you feel the need to live outside your means.
