Such a beautiful collection! It's a great idea to have a colour as a theme.
I'd like that velvety sofa please! I feel a sudden need to make my home even more full of green stuff.
Also, that twenties dress is absolutely gorgeous!

This adaptation is the complete opposite of the 1985 one, it's harsh and realistic, and not in the least romantic or cute or fluffy.
I would say this version is definitely worth checking out for anyone historically interested. A LOT of work has gone into making even the smallest details accurate, clothes look homemade, even hats and scarves look handknitted!
It's also beautifully filmed, the lighting is mostly natural light.

Speaking about new movies about iconic characters, has anyone watched the new Netflix Anne of Green Gables, Anne with an e? It's been a few weeks since it premiered, so maybe it has already been discussed here, I have been bad at keeping up, sorry.
I had A LOT OF THOUGHTS after my first viewing, but upon rewatching and listening to The History Chicks' in depth podcast discussion about episode 1 and 2, I have kind of gotten used to it. They called it Anne of Green Gables fanfiction, I think that's an excellent description.
