What would you think of a "championship committee"? Retired legends who could be the ones to make storyline decisions (not in real life of course). It would be a way to use guys like Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes and the list goes on and on. They would rarely have to appear and it would be a way to have decisions made without having any authority figure as adversary silliness. Hell, produce a weekly roundtable show for every weekend and update a list of top ten contenders.

Um...there are too new episodes? There is a Rewind with Orton vs Angle vs Rey. And the Countdown on Rivalries I believe is new as I couldn't find it in archive. Who writes this stuff?

Honestly, what they should do is just let Flair host a bunch of live events. Keep his TV appearances special, and his live event appearances will be too. Get him do local media and whatnot to push local ticket sales (lots of older men who grew up watching Flair that don't follow product now and might not even know there's a show).
