The colors remind me of Mardi Gras......New Orleans........Louisiana! I think the winner is from the state of LA. They are ranked as having the nicest friendliest folks in the nation.....wish it was my state.....Virginia, the state for lovers!

Its weird.....I love this house more this year than last years......but Im following the blog less. Maybe because Im about to face yet another move with the Army and I dont have time to daydream. Sigh. If we coulve won this house I think it may have pushed my husband to retire just a little earlier than planned! 28 years of service so far, might as well hit the big 30! :) Who ever wins......you are one lucky blessed person! I do envy you.
With every new post Im soooooo ready to move to South Carolina even if I dont win the Dream Home! I lived there once while stationed at Ft. Jackson......but I got to tell you, Charleston and the beaches are the place to be in that state! Dang, its about to snow and ice up here.......can I just win it now and move in today??? :) Great blogs, gives us all ideas on our own Dream Home!
Whew.....I dont know about anyone else but this winter has been putting me in a Carolina state of mind! I could really do with a big dose of Southern Hospitality and warmer weather! This constant snow storm after snow storm and ICE is really making me look forward to a home down south! :) Glad we are at this point where we can blog away the days until the winner is chosen.....its the hope that is nice to have. Thanks HGTV for another wonderful Dream Home ride.
I love the layering of the different textures, plants and fabrics. I get so many ideas for my own home from HGTV.......would love for this Dream Home to be mine......already filled with good ideas.! Fantastic!

Wow! Wowie Wow wow! I love this house and the location couldnt be better. Near the water....privacy, warm climate.....perfect retirement folks! After 25 years in the US Army this gals looking to go to Carolina not just in my mind but for keeps! What a dream come true! Thank you HGTV for another fun ride this year on the Dream Home express!
