I was about to post the same thing. Darn, I've been doing decently well about GoT spoilers, too :(. OP, could you put a warning or something with the link??

Eh, personally I will be following the new accounts. I was frustrated before as I struggled with giving him the attention vs keeping track of policy changes and such (I'm intending to run for local office in a few years so I'm trying to be involved) but now I'm following the OFFICE and not specifically the orange man.

Boise here- we get snow, but it usually all melts in the next few days. We're sitting with 14 inches on the ground and another 3-7 on the way. Then we'll have freezing rain to add a lovely layer of ice to everything and down tree limbs. The next day we get normal rain to melt everything. They're warning to expect major flooding.

Oh I don't do well with scary stories from personal experiences. It's one of the big reasons that I can't watch Supernatural! I had a horrible moment just now where I thought "I live in Boise! What if the house we bought is the one Mark grew up in and there's a horrible ghost lady haunting my kids at night?!?!?" Then I remember that our house is only 10 years old....

Mark Reads : Mark Reads \'Sandry\'s Book\': Chapter 1

Hooray! On to the Emelan books! I'm the odd one out of the Tamora Pierce fandom, though the Tortall books were my childhood, my library never seemed to have the first Circle book in so I never made it to this world! I found it at my new local library late last year and read the first two....then I could never find the third. I'm thinking I should add these to my collection as a gift to myself this year :) Any ways, I super excited to start this journey! New characters to have all the feels for!!!

Mark Reads : Mark Reads 'Mastiff': Part 25

As others have said, what a great username! This is actually one of my favorite books overall, not just of yours. Others on this post have put it much more clearly than I could hope to, but you make characters we care about so much! You know a book is good when it can cause such strong emotions in the readers. Even though the betrayal is heartbreaking, reading it through the second time I could see all of the warning signs that I glazed over the first time, hidden in plain sight. Also, thank you so much for commenting here! It is so fun to see one of my favorite writers so invested in her readers. There are very few movie stars that I would be starstruck by. For me, its the people who actually make a difference in peoples lives that cause awe. With the messages your books portray and the way they shaped me into the person that I am, I would be a gaping loon if I ever met you in person. Its hard enough typing this! Thank you, Queen Tammy. :)

I've been lucky that this is pretty similar tot he experiences that I've had with all of my RPG groups. Then again, I've only ever played with groups of people that I'm already friends with, and it really was just about the fun of hanging out together. Best memory I've ever had was playing Changeling (a White Wolf RPG, SO much fun with a good storyteller) all of our characters had been spelled to be terrified of something and run away, except for the one tiny girl who was still nervous about playing who passed her check to not be scared away. Instead she took down the baddie single-handedly with the most unique means to her character. we all just sat and stared at her for a minute than screamed and danced around while our (male) GM just shook his head and laughed, because she just did exactly what she was told, to do what she thought her character would do. Our group now is playing Pathfinder- very similar to D&D with slightly altered rules. Our group is just three guys and four girls, two of which are teenage girls. bringing in the next generation of geeky gamer girls :) I'm so proud, one is my goddaughter.

Quick side note, Palisa was a nine-year dog. She had four strikes on her bronze badge, working towards her silver. Beka has four strikes in her leather badge, earning bronze next year. So this was not an under-experienced dog. I am curious where her partner is. If she was tracking did she have a scent hound also?

This is one of the things that makes my mom.... not the best rancher. She raises goats but she gets too attached to them and has a very hard time selling the kids before they grow out of their adorable bouncy stage. Even the hens that aren't laying hang around indefinitely. She takes any death (unfortunately a very real part of raising livestock) very hard. I'm not saying I'd be any better about it, my pets have always been a part of the family, but it makes her hobby farm quite an expensive venture. She also gets frustrated about some of her ranching friends who don't see their animals the same way as she does. Again, not that either way is bad or incorrect, but I get a lot of very upset phone calls that "so-and-so did this and I'll never sell them one of MY animals. Never quite sure what to say...
