I also have knives and guns around the house for protective measures. People ask me why i have all of these things everywhere, My house was broken into on Christmas at about 4am. I was able to secure my family and prepare myself with a weapon for my new guest intruder, as he came from the porch through the door to my kitchen I meet him with a fully loaded pistol and was able to get the situation in control and protect my family. As fo the robber, he wont be robbing anymore houses. I see people all day long on the news who choose not to arm themselves, and become a statistic.
