go to the website linked above and download, after that it should be pretty self explanatory. Or you could always google for a tutorial.

Yup, it would get rid of the untethered but since you don't have the files saved you wouldn't be able to restore to 3.1.2 because apple isnt signing those files anymore, which means you would lose your Unlock. So if your friend depends on the Unlock it isn't recommended.

Actually I have never been banned. I changed my user name and as you can see my rep is still the same otherwise I would have started from zero. Which I can let it slide since your brain expansion isn't quite a handful. I have maybe mentioned that on a few posts regarding my interaction with customers, I know you are jealous but I am sorry you have to drive a yellow truck or greet people at walmart some people just have a greater knowledge than others, a general matter. You never " zinged" me this isn't the 1970's maybe you tried and add a want to be geogot response but you could never "zing" me. Being you is enough of a pain I imagine. I don't care about getting even with a blog snob like yourself. I have better things going on in my life which brings me to my next point, I have been to south and central America and back, hadn't checked this site and you are still here trying to earn some reputation points so you can feel like you are useful to society. Sorry but you are not. I'll give you some thumbs up so you can get a smile on your face, maybe that'd help your sad life.
