President Bush was but a fart in a hurricane compared to Obama, however they both have betrayed the people by racking up debt we can never pay back. If you are going to bring back anybody I'll point you in the direction of Reagan, Jefferson, or Washington.
Well that is exactly what it was. I've been doing some serious reading into what started the civil war.....the south felt they weren't being represented in congress, southern banks were forced to bail out the northern banks because they made bad investments (sound familiar?) They also felt like the constitution was being undermined. (Again, sound familiar?) The civil war may be over but the battle for states rights is still boiling. Those men fought for everything that we talk about on this website. Unfortunately the victor wrote history.
It is probably going to take a serious infringement on our 2nd amendment before people will be outraged enough to do anything to stop this. We aren't finished yet, I hear a rattling sound from a yellow flag.
I throw home owners associations, workers unions, and the union during civil war into the same category; Mad, misguided people that band together with good intentions and end up stripping people of their rights. Maybe its just a union thing?
I see an awful lot of blaming Obama but honestly the man is just a puppet, we need to find out who is on that blackberry and making his speeches because he obviously doesn't believe in a damn thing that he says.
In my own twisted way I was kind of happy to see this story.... The less subtle our government becomes in taking away our rights, the sooner people will wake up.
We are putting so much time, blood, and money in Iraq, in 10 years they may be free-er (if thats a word) than we are. Who's for moving to Iraq, the only place where almost every American there knows the price of freedom.
