When I read the title i was like "What the hell, how the hell are they going to turn that crappy inspiration crap book into a movie. " But I guess what they are doing makes a little more sense.

Well I find this quite fortunate for most of us. Not really high on my list of things I want to see. Salvation, I do want to see though. Can't wait. And a wtf to those who took it literally

/Film : New Moon Screenplay Discovered in the Trash

I could understand selling New Moon but the other one having value intrigues me. Either Jessica Biel or Justin Timberlake left a "Couples Retreat" script in the trash of the hotel my mother GM's last summer, is it too late to get in on this tabloid action?

I really hope Guy Ritchie does something different with this. Like hopefully he has it in him to actually change up how he directs a film or this one is going to be a pretty big let down.

/Film : Bradley Cooper Close to Being Cast as The Green Lantern?

Noooo! Bradley Cooper reminds me of a cheap creepier version of Josh Lucas. I don't know but for some reason I just don't like watching him in movies.

Not sure what to make of this news. It was my older sister's favorite movie growing up but I never really dug it. And I'm not entirely sure if I get the whole Russel Brand thing, although he is quite funny in a way out there kind of way when he's being interviewed.

That's awesome of McG. I hated this guys movies, well the very few he has made and was quite upset when he was signed on to direct this. So far everything looks good, and if he pulls off a fun kickass terminator movie, he's cool in my book.

I'm not looking for the inevitable Judd Apatow backlash once the general public or the internet community get tired of him. It's going to happen, it happens with all comedy. I love his work but like everyone in comedy they have a fairly short shelf life. That photo with sandler and spade is awesome.

/Film : The Time Traveler's Wife Will Finally See Release in August

The book was good. But the fact that it was a pretty big seller and I'm sure continues to sell makes me worried about the quality of the film itself. The movie must be pretty awful if they would keep it on the shelves while the popularity of the book would cool. Same goes for The Road, which is one of my favorite books. It was also the film I most anticipated last year and out of no where the whole "it never had a solid release date blah blah blah" thing popped up and has made me worried about the final product ever since. Considering the source material and the talent involved it makes no sense, actually never mind, Weinstein's need to release it at a time when it has Oscar appeal. They could just go all out with an ad campaign and release it at a time when a certain demo is just looking for a good movie to watch instead of time when everything is crowded. Movies make money every month of the year and it's been as obvious as ever lately since it's the cheapest form of entertainment. Movies do not need to be released in May-July, November-December anymore to break the bank. But yeah, sorry about the rambling

/Film : Kevin Smith Talks About A Couple of Dicks

Glad to see Tracy Morgan being used by some talented people outside of Tina Fey. Those two cast in a buddy cop movie almost seems like its too good to be true. But even if it weren't those two in the roles I'd see it because its Kevin Smith and I always see his films in theaters. Even Jersey Girl despite being the only male in attendance. Keeping the "R" rating is also welcomed news.

/Film : New Terminator Salvation Poster?

Sweet. This movie is everything I would have wanted T3 to be except for McG behind the camera. ANYONE else directing it and I'd count the days till I was entertained, but McG's past efforts somehow, designed specifically to entertained, managed to fail on every level. But awesome poster and I'm more excited about this than I am for Transformers 2

Comparable to Brick? I'm sold. So much in fact that saving it may lead to it only playing in a theater an hour away from me so I will do my part and do nothing and hope that it gets released directly to dvd. Why would I want to extend my wait by few extra months while it gets released in a couple hundred theaters? :p
